I would give it 5 stars, but EVERY time I go into this location, the employees are far from friendly, just stand behind the counter, starring at you the whole time, talking about you. I come in every couple of months to get my hair dye, shampoo, other hair products, & multiple other things & spend way over 80$ every time & it’s the same bad experience. I’ve refrained from making a review hoping some friendlier employees would get hired, but they haven’t. You would think that the older lady (I think she’s a “manager”) that works their would be more mature then she is, but she’s not & does the same as the younger employees. I will no longer be buying any of my supplies from here & will be going elsewhere. I don’t know if working at Sally’s makes them better then the next person bc that’s how they act, but if so, I would never want to work their with them. Hopefully some new employees & a new manager will be hired soon so other customers won’t continuously get treated with bad service & have to feel bad the whole time they are trying to shop.

Sooo I ordered a gray toner for my friend and an ash blond for my brothers hair well my friends hair ended up fine but she gave me a gray toner for my brother and I couldn’t go in the store to see the color. Sooo now my brother has gray hair when he wanted blonde hair and I don’t know what to do.

I went into Sally's with little knowledge but left with every question answered and more. I want to thank the manager Lala for taking the time and for excellent customer service. I will definitely come back, though it's out of my way, for this reason! Rachelle

I have been going to this location for years. When I first started shopping here, it was great. The manager was extremely nice, and basically taught me most of what I know about coloring my hair at home. After she stopped working there, service was never quite as amazing, but was never as bad as it is now. The current management and employees have the worst attitude problem I've ever seen. They act like you're inconveniencing them even by checking out. The last straw was when they would not honor their own return policy. I went to another location and had no issues. I will not be shopping here again.

I've shopped at a couple of Sally's around Nashville, & had mixed experiences. My daughter took me into the Brentwood location & explained what she wanted to do with my hair color. The manager looked at the picture, then at me, and said in a haughty drawl "not in BRENTWOOD". So, I usually use the one at the South Plaza. I get mixed reception when I go in. The Hispanic manager is nearly rude, though she'll answer a direct question. If I say what I want to do with my hair, she waves in the general direction of the appropriate aisle but doesn't tell me what I'll need to buy to accomplish my color goals. I have to practically pin her down to get any decent replies. She didn't tell me that mixing 2 different types of color would result in a disaster, so I have to have a list of prepared questions when I go in. I do love the Ion Color Brilliance "Tanzanite" color! I'd been using the Demi-Permanence, (straight out of the tube) which lasted several months with no need for touch-ups.

I'm an old guy so have little reason to go to Sally Beauty Supply or any other such place. They do have one item I buy occasionally so I go there as it's close. I had to be out early one morning (not my usual habit) so checked this store's web page to see when they opened. 10 AM it said; perfect I thought. I arrived just after 9 and saw that the sign on the door said they open at 10. A wasted trip was the result. When I went back later that day I had planned to mention the discrepancy, but the young lady who was on duty had such an attitude of don't care that I decided not to bother. Years ago my late wife went there and I frequently went along. Cheerful, helfpul employees were the standard, but the last couple of times I have gone that has changed. Oh, well, good help is hard to find, I suppose.
