I have shopped here a long time and things have gotten so much better lately but today something awesome happened. The young man working there named Jacob at the Henslee drive location in Dickson Tn made my day . I lost a one hundred dollar bill and came back looking for it and he had found it and gave it back to me ! This is so rare these days this type of honesty and he has renewed my faith in people as well as this establishment!

Cant find the discounts and 'no longer carring this so it's got to go' kind of markdowns as easily as in the other dollar generals. Also seems really crowded with merch that hasn't been stocked.

Noel is the best manager ever. He's so on top of things, nice and helpful. I go out of my way to go to this DG because he does such a great job of keeping it stocked and running smoothly. He's totally turned this store around from where it was a year ago under the previous management. I hope DG is compensating him sufficiently because he really puts a great face on this store and company. A+++

No matter how empty the shelves are or how messy the store is I will always go there. For one I much rather run in real quick than have to go in Walmart where I know I'll get stuck for hours and get way more than what i needed lol and 2 I know it's not the employees faults the store isn't up to most peoples standards. I have worked for the company before and know how hard it is to keep employees with the very low payroll amount they are allowed per week. Work their managers to death and won't give part time employees more than 10-15 hours a week so they end up going somewhere else. Anyway the employees at this store are great and helpful! They are just understaffed and underpaid ?♀️
