“Lovely people, but worst hours ever. I get off night shift they are closed. I wake up, they close at 4pm so I'm rushing to get there. At least open at 8am instead of 830am, thats such a weird time. But ideal hours would be 7am to 5pm. I don't know how first shift workers ever get anything done at the post office with the current 830am to 4pm hours. Hope to see this change someday.”
“Evelyn is so kind! She tracked down a lost package for me two years ago when we moved here and has been very sweet everytime I go. When looking at the new stamps she never acts like it’s a burden to show as many as I would like to see. This week I saw her helping an elderly lady carry in her packages because she needed to use a cane to walk. I’m at the post office at least 3-4 times a week and I’ve never seen or heard either attendants be rude to customers. I think Etowah is lucky to have great Postal employees.”
“A lot of the complaints i see on here have a lot to do with the rules/regulations of USPS. There is a certain protocol the staff have to abide by. The staff at Riceville Post Office have done an outstanding job. Also have to take into consideration with the constant over flow of 3rd party packages. Which comes with a whole new list of rules and regulation from the actual shipper. Leaving without signatures etc. Keep in mind sometimes you dont know what goes on behind the scene. Thank you for all you do USPS (Riceville) staff.”
“This is a great little town post office. It is convenient to where I live, and makes it easier for us to no have to drive all the way into a larger town to do business. The people are almost always friendly. (I've yet to meet one that hasn't been.)”
