This isn't Davis market anymore they really should change it... I have no issues with Davis market but the owners Nick and his wife are ruining that place. Thursday the health department came in shut the kitchen down until Saturday. The owners tried telling yal it was the hot box and that was a lie. I am well I use to be the cook their and loved my job until they came into the picture. Ever since they have been playing with yals lives. They try and reuse old food, food from the day before that was already wrapped up in a biscuit or bun or anything honestly that didn't sell the day before. I refuse to do that so would save my regulars my customers and throw it out. They have cockroaches as well so be aware please also their jalapenos they are trying to sell DO NOT BUY THEM. They where originally thrown out after sitting in sewer and stilled water and thrown in the garbage but another employee whoes been there since beginning took them out the trash and is now reselling them. Also be cautious of the lunch plates she been using expired Mac n cheese along with reusing it and the mashed potatoes for two weeks. The new owners will now be cooking breakfast so please be safe and aware of your food. I was one to look out for yal but I will no longer be there to do so. Sorry to my regulars but yal take care see ya around.
