Got a prescription filled and pharmacy called me to see if the prescription I got was working for me made me feel so good I am glad I have Walgreens for my pharmacy

Let me tell you why you should never go to the Dayton Walgreens ever again.My daughter had a horrible allergic reaction and we were in the hospital most of the day Sunday. I get to the Walgreens drive-thru window at 530pm to pick up my 9 year old daughters medication. The lady tells me she is having an issue with the name but she knows how to fix it because it happened before. She asked me to come inside so they can help me work on it and get her meds. I agreed and parked my car and went inside. There were 2 people in front of me. By the time I get to the counter they are refusing to help me and closed the door on me mid conversation. At this point I am beyond frustrated. They say "it's 6 there is nothing we can do to help you" MA'AM you are the one who told ME to come inside!! I ask for the manager and she starts getting an attitude saying she is the manager. She just kept telling me there was nothing she could do and they were closed. Mind you, I got there at 530 and was ASKED to come inside. Why ask me to come inside if you can't help me!? Why not just stay at the drive thru!? Now it's been over 24 hours and my daughter has YET to have her medication because they refuse to fill it for her now. I asked the "manager" Shae what the employees names were and she said she didn't know - if you're the manager how do you not know your employee names???? Anyways. If they can sleep at night knowing they withheld medication from a 9 year old struggling to breathe and broke out in hives - then so be it. I will be posting pictures of the employees and blasting it anywhere and everywhere I can. I have been in touch with cooperate and the BBB.ALSO - when the cops were called he said they told him what the prescriptions were that my daughter was having filled. Excuse me but I didn't give permission for that information to be handed out.Shae and her employees in the pharmacy are the WORST customer service people I have EVER encountered. If I could give less than 1 star I would 100% would.

I understand staffing may be limited these days and I will start by saying Walgreens is one of my favorite stores. It is usually a peaceful experience but maybe the gentleman at the counter could learn to do a little more customer service and a little less pressuring customers to get a Walgreens credit card because "you get more points". The interest rate on the Walgreens card is somewhere around 27% of which I have no interest in as there are other cards with 0% interest . I was informed "it's 0% interest if you pay it off before the end of the month" ... well no shit, so is every other credit card available. Stop treating customers as if they're stupid especially when they're already paying with a credit card . Stop pushing something on someone who has already said no and just scan the merchandise , be polite and move on . The thing is , some people do not understand how credit cards work and it's a garbage attempt at pushing a company card onto someone who has already said no . It is rude and honestly I don't need financial advice from a cashier at Walgreens . I'm unsure what has happened where people don't understand how to stay in their own lane but it would be much appreciated if the staff at Walgreens could get back to it . I just want to shop, be left alone and see a friendly face when I check out . If I wanted the shit show, I would have gone to Walmart .

Almost every time I’ve come to the pharmacy the line has been terribly long and barely moves. At one point I stood there for over an hour before I could even get up to the counter. I’ve come at several different times and my experience has been the same. I’m not sure if they have low staffing or what but over the past few months I have decided to just get my prescription somewhere else because of the waste of time it is to go there. I often will drive over there wait for a while and then decide to leave because I can’t sit there anymore.

They wouldn't allow me to pay for my fathers prescriptions. We live in different cites and he needed his medication but didn't have the money to pay for them. I called the pharmacy to pay for them but they refused to allow me too. That's ludicrous.

The management at this place is the worst I have ever seen. We have to wait over an hour in line anytime we need our prescriptions, inside or in the drive thru, and when we finally get to the front of the line, our prescriptions aren’t even ready. This is literally every single time. We end up having to go weeks at a time without our medications. We have even been given the wrong prescription BY A MANAGER. They're not always the quickest....but its hard to be quick when you're the best and most visited in town...They're however one of the most friendliest and most go out of the way to save you a buck... I approve of this place very much!

Krissy, the Pharmacist at the Dayton, TN Walgreens store went above and beyond to bring my overall costs for an antibiotic and two other meds down from $160 to about $40. She applied a discount card to the antibiotic and helped me find good over-the-counter substitutes for the other two. Money is tight and I will always be grateful to her for her help.
