This Walgreens Pharmacy location is a disaster and frequently out of stock of many prescriptions (seems like a federal problem) but the staff is not necessarily the sole reason. Of course there are a few employees with bad attitudes, who don’t answer the phone or work less efficiently but that could be in response to how incredibly busy they always are. I’m not excusing or condoning terrible customer service but I am however empathizing with their work conditions. Crossville has grown and adding a second Walgreens nearby would help reduce most of these issues.

Slowest drive-thru ever! I was 5-6 cars back and sat in line for 50 minutes. Unacceptable!

Went to pickup prescription today at drive up and really long line into the parking lot! Waited 5 minutes or so, line not moving so decided to go inside. Got back to pharmacy and again LONG line, at least 10 people waiting and line not moving! Pharmacies are making record profits from covid but won't staff up to keep things moving smoothly. Instead leave people waiting for much needed medications standing in ridiculously long lines! Time to try CVS or Wal-Mart. I hope this gets to Walgreens management! Get a clue!

I’m immunocompromised and made an appointment to go receive the third Moderna shot and I was denied it. The tech was rude and told me that because I don’t have cancer, I’m not eligible for it. You don’t have to have cancer to be immunocompromised. How am I supposed to trust a pharmacy when their techs are ignorant on the topic of being immunocompromised?

Was able at this one store to get both my covid-19 booster shot and my flu shot. Delivered without paying, because of my age and insurance no payment necessary.

I was refused a Moderna Booster at Walgreens in Crossville Tn. I made an appointment online and was excepted after answering all the questions. On arriving, the pharmacy tech asked the same questions and told me I don't qualify. The Attestation form she handed me and pointed to clearly says I qualified, It states " You must meet at least one of the criteria below." I told her I met the 3rd line, "Patient 50-64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster." At the bottom were the EXAMPLES of underlying conditions including the words "or other". She was not concerned about the "or other". She said if I didn't have of the 5 Examples she read out loud, that I could NOT get the booster. My underlying health issues fall into the " or other" and are clearly mentioned on the Walgreens online form and clearly mentioned in the CDC list of underlying conditions. I immediately went to Walmart, answering the SAME questions and got my booster. I would hate for a person with an underlying condition to be hospitalized or worse because Walgreens won't comply with their own written list of qualifications and refuses to give boosters and or vaccines to eligible people. In a State with large numbers of Covid cases, this is alarming.

The incompetence of some "pharmacists" here is astounding. Super slow. Told me my prescription for allergy syringes was ready. On arrival, I was told they didn't have any due to nationwide back order. Then the prescription was cancelled. When home, I called and spoke with a male pharmacist who advised he had a substitute available to be picked up the next morning. I arrived the next morning to be given needles only, not syringes. Reinterred the store to be told the same out of stock story. A different pharmacist amazingly found a box of syringes. The original female pharmacist was extremely unhelpful and refused to expedite my order due to having to travel 30 minutes to and from two days in a row. Looks like I'll be transferring my account to Cookeville.
