I like Shadden Tire and the service they provide. Always courteous and helpful. I don't feel "sold to" when I come in the door. Today they mounted a new tire on a rim I brought in. They put it on the truck and put the spare under the bed on the bracket at no extra charge.

On 10/10/24 I went to SHADDEN Tire Discounters on 584 S. Main Street, in Crossville, TN. After going to Firestone in Cookeville on 10/4/24 my car was still having issues such as some fluid of some sort was leaking out onto my garage floor after driving the car. The next morning I would find a big puddle. My neighbor and her friends raved about how wonderful this shop in Crossville our town was so exceptional. When I walked into SHADDEN I was greeted by “Brance”. Very kindly, he asked me what he could help me with. I told him that I had just been to Firestone recently and I was still seeing some kind of fluid leaking from my back right rear tire area. I told him that I had put my finger in it and that it had no smell, on the clearer side and it was just a little oily. I showed him the picture of the spot actually after I had cleaned it with Dawn. He right away, said It looks like it’s brake fluid. He went and talked to the mechanic working on my car. Then in a little bit, he asked me to come out to see what the problem was. He and the mechanic showed me where the brake fluid line was loose and it needs to be tightened. That’s where the leakage had been coming from. They found the problem where as Firestone had not. I was told by Firestone that my tires just needed to be rotated and that would help with with the pulsation of the steering wheel as well. I want to be clear in saying that Firestone was always kind, and courteous to me. But for now on after this place was very highly recommended to me by my neighbor and her friends I will be going here in town where I live where I know that I can trust them 100% to never take advantage of a Single woman such as myself. They are honest and that is huge to me! And on this day, when I asked Brance how much I owed them he said NO charge. I was totally shocked as they took all that time with my car and discovered what the problem was. Not only that he said that he would honor the free rotation Warranty that I had on my car since I bought tires in Florida from Tires Plus sister to Firestone. On 10/11/24 today the day I’m writing this I went back in and said I should’ve asked if they could check the brake fluid since it has been leaking. “Brance” at the front desk said where is your car? I said on the side of the building. He walked out with me, put up the hood of my car up and checked the brake fluid. He said it was fine. So once again, I walk in and right away, I am helped. Yesterday I thought I’d be sitting there all day long because the lobby first thing in the morning wad full when I walked in. I was pleased with lesd than a two hours wait. Was nothing compared to what I thought it was going to be for with all the people ahead of me.
The bottom line is that I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone and I’ve been telling everyone I know about my experience here. It’s a family owned business since 1953, and the Honesty and Care I received I have never ever seen in any auto repair shop that I have walked into!

I have used Shadden Tire in Crossville which is now Tire Discounters for many years. It’s still the same friendly service and great workmanship as always. I would never go anywhere else at this time. Keith, Vickie, Tony and all the others are fabulous in my book.
