There are some experiences that warrant a lengthy review, because a simple 5 star rating doesn’t convey the experience thoroughly. I have been searching for a particular vehicle and always came across one a day late and dollar short. However, a search during an occasional sweep allowed me to locate one within driving distance. I called Dave Kirk GMC and was greeted by a professional representative Jessica. She located the car for me, sent me a personal walk around video, and looked at special request areas for me. Amazing. I called back and put down a deposit to hold the vehicle. I was introduced to Nick Sayre at this point. And let me tell you, someone who has customer service to a science, it’s this man. I felt like we have been friends since highschool (many many years ago). It’s difficult to connect with someone like that instantly; he treated you like family. Like the ones you call because you want to (smile). Nick answered every question for me and answered questions I didn’t think to have. Nick and I discussed the sale and came to a final price. Also, I sent Nick all my paperwork for my trade to initiate conversation and through professional negotiations, came to a great deal for my final out the door price. Fast forward to the next day, there were no surprises…actually one. Nick had the car through service, detailed, and in front with my name on the car! This wasn’t a new car sale, mind you, this was a preowned sale. I was blown away. Very professional and friendly; like we’ve known each other this whole time. No surprises when I was introduced to finance and spoke with Travis, another professional with a great sense of humor. For the financial process, we all sometimes fear (or loathe) due to its complexity or dry event timeline; Travis made this process seamless and enjoyable. True master of his craft as well. During my discussions, I was introduced to Greg, the General Manager, and we discussed many items in length over my trade and my “new to me” purchase, he has had years of experience and ensured that I was taken care of by his team.
During my purchase, I requested some non routine service to be performed (my own dime of course), due to my long drive back, I wanted some peace of mind. The vehicle didnt really need it, but I’m borderline OCD and wanted it anyway. I was introduced to Michael, service advisor, and requested maintenance history (to go along with my dealer provided carfax) and he eagerly obliged. Michael was also able to squeeze me in during his busy day with a “skeleton crew”. Amazing customer service. I didn’t mention all of this was from a phone conversation that started on a Friday afternoon that led into Saturday morning. All of this was completed overnight and I arrived at 0900 (3.5 hour drive) and was complete with my deal within the hour. The service I requested allowed me to leave early afternoon, and was extremely pleased. This is a true definition of customer service and family dealership. Hands down, this is where I would recommend to all my family and friends. We will be back and will advocate for this location to anyone and everyone asking for a recommended dealership.

We bought a used truck at Dave Kirk after looking for a while for something pretty specific. The buying process went very well. Will definitely go back. Clay was an awesome salesperson, and Gabe in the service department did everything he could to make sure we left happy as well!
