Worst service ever. Biggest rip off in covington.these are pics of my sons transmission. They said they rebuilt it new torque converter seals and all.more pics to come. Shade tree mechanics at best.0 stars they take your money and run cause your vehicle sure won't.

I was very impressed and happy to find this shop. I called because my transmission temp. light had came on, with in 1 hour of find this awesome shop, he checked the fluid level for me, and scanned the vehicle to dignanose the issue. He treated me very kindly, and was very helpful. This is a place you can trust!

I had a transmission rebuilt for my 2002 Tahoe. While they were doing that they also repaired a rear main seal oil leak that had been plaguing me for 18 months or so! Their prices were right in line with another quote I received. They were helpful with answering automotive questions I had as well! I highly recommend using their services if you’re anywhere in the Mid-South area. Robert and Lee were great to work with. Honest and dependable shop! My transmission gave out in Covington as I was traveling to Dallas Texas in my camper van. It was a Friday night so I had to wait until Monday for the transmission shop to re-open however the guys all seemed to know what they were doing, talked the good talk, and they quoted a price that I thought was reasonable. They were not able to get the car completed on Monday so they paid for my hotel on Monday night; then they couldn't get it done on Tuesday so they paid my hotel Tuesday night. I thought that would be the end but then the computer would not be programmed, they had to take it to Memphis, and they paid for my hotel room on Wednesday. The car was ready on Thursday afternoon and I have been driving it for the past three days. So far so good. The work is guaranteed for two years and I will go back to Covington in May just to have them check it out. Please note that the address listed in yelp is incorrect. They are down closer to the old downtown area; W. Pleasant Ave and Hwy 51.

My son's transmission went out on his 1996 Oldsmobile 88. He took it to Tipton County Transmission on April 12, 2014. He was told it would be ready on Wednesday April 16. That date was pushed back to Saturday April 19, 2014. He went to Tipton County Transmission picked his car up drove it home to Ripley TN and the car hasn't moved since. The starter now needs to be replaced. My son had replaced his starter about five months earlier. The car since then had started fine. That is until now. When we called Tipton County Transmission they sent a man who lived nearby to look at the car. He arrived without tools and said the starter was loose. When we talked to Tipton County Transmission they told us they hadn't touched the starter when they replaced the transmission. Now Autozone told us yes, to get to the transmission they had to move the starter. So I believe Autozone. My son is out of 1300.00 and he has a car that wouldn't start.
