Pickwick Supermarket is a nice, small town country grocery store with a friendly, family-owned feel. It is a convenient and well-stocked jewel in the rough, offering a large variety of food for everything needed during a stay at Pickwick Lake, camping, or the State Park. The store features a top-notch deli with fresh, hot food and cold cuts, including superb tuna and chicken salad sandwiches and great Angus beef hamburgers. The facilities are clean and the service is very nice, courteous, and delivered with a smile. Prices are reasonably priced and a little less than average on most items, though some big name brand items can be pricey. Its potato chip section also offers phenomenal small brand flavors.
A jewel in the rough. In you're staying at the lake, they'll have more than what you need for your stay. They even have a deli. Prices are a little less than average on most items, but a little higher on big name brand items. Very nice people.
