“A laid back and fun mini golf course and driving range. The mini golf is solid but not a "goofy golf" style course, so don't expect windmills and theming. It's just a fun, low priced family fun option.”

“One of a couple places I could find a particular item. Although I got mixed up on the location, once in the store I found exactly what I wanted, having not moved since the last time I was there for it.”

“S.Y. Wilson Co 5⭐s David and the Team/Family is like finding a hidden gem or like that cool fishing spotand you don't want to really tell nobody.. lol! But they are awesome and down to earth. I was a customer that visited the store a year and a half ago and he remembered me. That's real in my book. As soon you walk in that historical building you see and feel the good vibes.”

“String and swing is great. They now have a larger selection of rackets and shoes than they used to, so it's even more friendly to people who play with rackets that are less common than Wilson, head, or Babolat. They also do price matching. So this is a good way to support a local business rather than buying online.”

“I used to bowl for Bartlett high School and also joined in leagues here and other lanes all around Memphis and in Nashville. No matter what Chad knew how to help me get better by drilling and recommending balls that I would be able to use at the skill level I had at the time. I'm left handed and at first had no idea how to make it spin and all that and couldn't throw at 14+ pound ball yet. but the one he made me I still used to get the 7 pin cause it would go straight and never curve. Once I got to that level I got a good ball but he saw me bowling hours after a tournament game and he said your throw is perfect it's just the ball is bouncing off the pins not going threw them. It took me awhile to understand by that time I was a junior in high school and in adult leagues. I decided to not care and buy whatever would work best for me. Also all summer and all throughout that year I was working out and getting in shape and could throw a 15+ pound ball and adjust it to curve more or less and to travel 14mph up to 18mph. Also my ability to get spares if not a bad one was perfectly fine and I needed to get more pins to fly around. So I talked to him he knew me from tournaments for state and league stuff. He took around 2 or 3 hours and got me anywhere from 8-12 games to play free so he could adjust the ball perfectly. At first it wasn't breaking enough, then he had to adjust the thumb about 4 times cause it would either cut into my thumb, get stuck, slide out to easily, or not be able to control it cause I liked to have the option to throw in more inside and it break at the end or throw it almost in the gutter and it break hard into the pins depending on the oil that was being used. By the time he was done I started my junior and senior year in high school we won district, regionals finally, got to state couldn't win cause the state champions were put against us and for some reason we were ranked last which was like the 8th seed. And we lost by 1 point... Also had 3 people go as individual state champion contenders. I was in the top 9 for most of the season my senior year, we were bowling so often my arm was hurting and my leg but a huge tournament invotational we got invited to, got someone to go to Bartlett just to bowl with us he was a freshman who could bowl 280 or better or bowl 130-150. Over time we helped he get more consistent but there was now 4 left handed people that started out of 6 on our team. In group A was me, a right handed bowler who was really awesome and i always told them put whoever needs the oil to be right that is left handed on my side I can change up how I throw easily. Also I very rarely ever threw so much spin it messed with the oil. So they did and the ball Chad made for me could be thrown however and I had my best 3 games ever it made me ranked 6th in individual ranking in the state. I eventually lost my state ranking to my friend on my own team but anyway the ball Chad made me I used and I for some reason after my arm was extremely sore and I needed to pick up the speed I kept getting strikes from over throwing it and hitting the 1 and 3 pin instead of 1 and 2 cause I'm left handed. I was getting pins to fly across the lane. I bowled 274, got my confidence up and got 298, and 297. It was awesome and I'm happy to say my senior year and my leagues last years I averaged 216+ with 19 290+ games. Never got 300 but because of Chad knowing from watching me what I needed at each stage of me learning was amazing. I always thanked him and always would go to other places in bowling alleys to see their people that drilled the balls and they never at all were close to Chad. The guy in Nashville I saw said if I'm from Memphis I need to see Chad and then he saw my ball and he even realized I got it drilled by Chad. He mentioned how tedious it would be to make it that perfect for the style in which I threw the ball and to fit my hand correctly. Even my ball to get spares that was meant to be thrown straight was perfect for beginning and one for spinning at the last second. ”

“My sons have been shopping at TNC for so many years. This was always their first choice of where to spend their allowance dollars as little guys... now they have jobs and make their own money and still spend it at TNC. ;)We love their selection of sports cards and team apparel. We're also very thankful for TNC's support of our community groups, like the Bartlett HS Band, to which they've recently generously donated items for a silent auction fundraiser event. We're happy to continue supporting local business while shopping at TNC!”

“My Son purchased a new set of TaylorMade Qi irons and they came in without grips. We went up there to pick them up but the club repair guy had left for the day. Without any hesitation, the Asst Manger Brett, grabbed the clubs and said he would install the grips. The salesman took my Son back to select the grips and in no time at all, Brett was done. Great customer service by Brett! Thank you”

“Long overdue review, but this place is wonderful. I am very picky on running shoes and I was well taken care of here by the patient staff. They even invited me to their running club when I enquired about local running groups. While I was there, the staff also were patiently helping an older woman with foot issues and ensuring she got the right shoes for her needs. Great store if you’re looking for supportive shoes!”

“Had such an awesome experience purchasing my bicycle from these guys today! Eoin and Chris Moore were beyond helpful, explaining the different ways to attach to my car (with or without having a hitch) and provided me with what I needed to be able to walk out of the store ready to transport and ride my bicycle.

Their retail hospitality was absolutely 20/10 and I highly recommend going to this Memphis REI to buy your bike and accessories!”

“I was at the 5502 Poplar Ave location. I'm a 3 yr Stroke Survivor & use a cane.. I'm starting a new job & Wolfchase Limb & Brace referred me here. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Diana Brown & was told she will be with me soon. Within 5 -10 minutes Mia Munoz walked up & I told her what I needed according to notes from Wolfchase Limb & Brace. She sized me & started bringing me different shoes to try on. It was difficult getting my foot into shoes based on stroke, but she was patient & diligent, using a shoe horn & all. Then Jennifer Strasburger came over to help & they found me a velcro pair of shoes that worked perfectly for my needs!! After trying on 4 pairs of shoes w/some difficultly, I was checking out & I had tears in my eyes...these ladies treated me w/such care, compassion, professionalism & respect! I couldn't get over my shoe shopping experience ? I'm so grateful for these ladies God sent to me to bless & encourage me w/the perfect pair of shoes for this Stroke Survivor!! HATS OFF LADIES!! KEEP IT GOING!! Return customer for life!! SN: Please expand velcro shoe options & colors. & Include a Slip On line as well. Disabled people wear your shoes too. GOD BLESS”

“Found some moderately priced deals today. The store is so small or selection so large, however you want to look at it, that it is elbow to elbow shopping which isn't too pleasant.”

“My salesperson was great! I was undecided on whether I wanted dunks for my nephew or the newly released Jordan 5s. She didn’t mind going back and forth for both shoes though I wasn’t sure on which one. She was patient and she showed kindness! Keep her apart of the team.”

“This store was nice and well laid out. The associates were busy folding clothing and keeping the store neat when i arrived. The associates are attentive with getting you a fitting room started, Sammi helped me right away, in fact, so did another associate (so i actually had 2 separate fitting rooms started and didn't know it!) but not so much once you are in there trying the clothes on. No one asked me if I needed another size when i was in there. I had to step out and look for things myself or just wait my turn and ask one of the associates if they had a particular size. There were associates helping other patrons while i was back there in the dressing room but none were addressing me. This might just be their policy, i don't know, at any rate, i was helped once by the original associate who first greeted me and then after that, i would get re-dressed and i pretty much swapped my own sizes out myself. To top it off, i left my room to get some other sizes and i let one of the associates know (Laurie i think) that i wasn't done, that i would be back to my fitting room because i wanted to swap out sizes and not to let them put my clothes back on the sales floor and she said "ok!" But apparently she didn't listen because when i got back with my new sizes, my name was erased off of the board and my dressing room had been cleaned out! That was so irritating! I had to go back through the store and track down the items i had set aside to purchase. I know i missed a few, because i couldn't remember everything that i had in there. Other than that, I love Athleta brand clothes! I have well over 100 of their pieces. Their clothes is just comfortable and made for the modern woman and the real woman. They have sizes to fit everyone and almost every item that i try on fits! Other clothing brands have styles suited for one shape- popsicle stick or rectangle. Their clothes fit my curves. Most pants from other brands fit in the hip and butt however they gap at the back, not their clothing. It is well made and designed to fit real, day-to-day shapes. A lot of brands think "athletic build" is someone with a wide torso, narrow butt and hips, wide shoulders. I am athletic but i have a small waist, pear-shaped and have shoulders slightly smaller than my hips so shopping for clothing usually leaves me frustrated and hopeless but with Athleta, i really have to budget because so many pieces look so good on me and i can't possibly buy them all because, let's face it, they are kind of expensive.”

“⚾️Usually are good places, looks pretty much like the ones in California! Very clean. Very shiny. ?Very expensive. Even the sale racks are sort of a joke in expense. ?Obviously we live in a very wealthy country. Almost vomitous the amount of stuff in these stores that is 99% redundant and overpriced. Sadly, this location does NOT have a BATTING CAGE to try out bats.?Either way, it's where we generally go for Baseball stuff but not good for Aquatics sports.?Very good service! ⚘️Every person who helped us was warm, seemed genuine and helped without seeming annoyed. Great service is a shout out to Great management and training! Customer service is everything!?”
