The worst cell phone carrier I have ever had. Noone gives you the same info. The staff is completely unprofessional, they sit and talk about lunch plans while you sit there. One of the employees was asked to put on a screen protector and she said I just put lotion on.

Save yourself the trouble, hassle, and stress, and go to the actual Verizon store on Jackson to get taken care of. I have received service from this store for three months, and for every single month, I have had billing issues. I have been overcharged for services every month, and since I have a business account, it seems like there is only one person in charge of my account: Tiera. Apparently, Russell Cellular is unable to fix any billing issues; they have to call Verizon directly and fix any issues. I have been more than patient with Tiera to fix my billing issues. She has stated that their system is crashing, that their Verizon Representative/Liaison has not gotten around to fixing our billing issue yet, but its been three months! I understand that their system can crash, that people are busy, and that she has customers to deal with, but I have been more than patient to get this issue resolved to the point that I am fed up with their customer service. As I write this review, our billing issue still has not been resolved. Like I said, go to the Verizon store on Jackson to get service because they are the actual company, not a subcontractor like this store that cannot be held responsible for anything they offer.

good place great customer service : i went in with issue with my phone and instead of them trying to sell me another phone they told me to take it and try have it fixed cause the phone is high dollar i really appreciated that::: got to give the shout out to Shana Turner for helping me

Store hours are listed as 7pm is close drove almost a hour to the store for the doors to be locked at 6:45pm and no one in the store! Tried calling and magically had a 12min hold at 6:48! Lost us as a customer and lost another person that pulled in while we leaving! 15 mins is a big time frame I can understand 5ish mins but not 15!

Wow, it’s all I can say! They completely lie and then they say they didn’t! And then, when you go in and do exactly what they told you to do, and tell you they never told you to do that? I don’t get it we do what they asking follow the instructions given just to be lied to again! Wow!? Waited for nothing but her to lie! 3.5 years with them, never have they done us like this!!

Lazy staff. I went to this store and explained I needed to add a new device to my plan and they told me to do it online. It’s going to take hours for me to figure out.

Worst experience of my life getting new phones and service for my daughter and i.everything JJ our associate told us was basically lies.paid initial activation charges while there and was then charged them again on our first bill.was told our cases and screen protectors were "included" but were charged an extra 182.70 dollars for them.then I was signed up for insurance without even being asked toLoo

Never have I ever had an experience like this one in any customer service atmosphere. Had originally went in to upgrade my phone that I was very excited about doing and was given a price that seemed wrong. Although I have never bought a phone by myself. $270 seemed a bit much for an upgrade for a phone I had finished paying off last year. I asked for a breakdown and Shana told me she could only say that it included a phone case, screen protector, and charger that I HAD to get and was unable to negotiate with. I then asked for a price of the phone because I assumed it was the taxes that I was paying and was told she did not know and it did not matter because I would not be able to buy the phone outright. Which I knew, but was still curious. After reading the terms for about a minute, she told me I needed to make a decision now or else the offer would expire. As I was reading she also said very rudely, "This is your first time buying, isn't it?". Yes I understand, I may be ignorant over the topic, but because she was not able to answer any question I had, I had to educate myself. After calling customer representatives, I was told everything Shana Bean had told me was a lie. No, you do not need to buy a phone case and screen protector when getting your new phone. And yes, you can also trade in your old iPhone (thankfully mine was in perfect condition other than a crack in the back, which I was told was okay) for a discount,. I ultimately was able to upgrade my new phone at a price of $116.41 with no change/ price increase in my monthly plan. Cannot wait to pick up at the Jackson location! If it were not for me being in university and studying business and law, I would have let this slide, but beware of this location for attempting to oversell you and contact either the Jackson location or customer representatives first. Praying nobody else has an experience like I had here and that this location does not prey on another person like me who may look young and d**** but came out with about $200 still in her pocket.

I don't write reviews unless someone deserves one. I've been in technology for 40 plus years and my experience with Russell Cellular has been great. JJ knows what she is doing navigating the latest Verizon promotions. While waiting today an older gentleman and I talked about Verizon, I told him these folks can help him get a good plan, unlike the corporate stores or corporate customer service. I can tell by some of the bad reviews, people do not understand this is a franchise and subject to what Verizon offers, not the bad information someone at customer service gave them. I know this because before this last purchase, I was given two different offers from the corporate store and on the phone with customer service, it only took JJ a few minutes to show me the errors. When its time to replace my iPhone, I'll be back to see JJ.

Not impressed at all!! Rude and not helpful.. during my visit the system was down and employee recommended I use the phone there and call customer service as I was doing so my young child had to use the restroom as I was on the phone I asked if my child was able to use the restroom they told me no- no public restroom. I said I understand however considering the situation with your system and having to call customer service from the landline phone in the store could you make an exception I was told no not at all and I had to hang up in the middle of the phone conversation trying to fix my phone to leave and before that I asked several questions but no one was helpful or able to answer my questions. I was told talk to customer service.

Please don’t buy the line about the screen saver being a lifetime replacement. It’s only for a year and you have to pay $11.95 for shopping and handling. You also have to know the date you purchased the screen saver. You have to wait 7 to 10 days for the replacement. Russell cellular is a joke and I will never recommend anyone to their store; but I will badmouth them at least 30 times.

Almost a year of trying to get the payment and promos we purchased reflected on our Verizon account and STILL no results. Will never recommend or return to this company again.

This visit was terrible!! I called the phone number listed for this store. I spoke to someone who was from Verizon corporate office. I inquired about the Jetpack for wireless internet in my home. Very nice and helpful......so I thought. I go to the store the next day and according to the assistant mgr. JJ the corporate office doesn't give correct information. Beware customers the stores and corporate offices who answer the phones aren't the same!!!! Needless to say, I left the store very upset!!!

Absolutely fantastic to deal with! I started at the local Verizon factory store but they did not have the phone in stock and they referred me to Russell cellular. Their service was fast and friendly. They got everything that I needed handled within 15 minutes from start to finish. I will always go back there when I need help with my Verizon phones and upgrades. I made the mistake of calling the Verizon retailer in Sparta first since I live there. The guy there said they won’t just sell me a phone. They tried to shove an extra $100 of accessories on me.
