These people represent everything you hate about buying a new vehicle. It was by far and away the worst experience Ive ever had. I ordered a new Tundra in May of 2022 and one finally arrived that was nothing like what I ask for but I was led to believe it would be at MSRP so I figured I could deal with it. I was then hit with 5k over MSRP plus several other junk fees, basically told that I had to purchase the $3000 extended warranty and had no choice but to finance it through them. Then they hit me with the 14% interest rate when I have excellent credit but said "they might be able to work on that a little bit since I was buying the warranty"?? It sickens me that I wasted 8 months dealing with Cumberland Toyota but I have never been so happy to walk away from anything in my life. I try my very best to shop local but this dealership makes it impossible.

Use this dealership for our oil changes, and vehicle servicing. Great customer service as well as the work performed.

I had an appointment for service at 10:30 this morning. I pull into an empty service bay and park my car. I've never been here before. (inside the service bay) I grab a couple things to take in and notice Travis Fitzpatrick walking out. He looks at me and doesn't say anything. Then he gets on the phone. I notice he isn't saying anything and it looks like he's on hold, so I asked him if should I go inside or sit in the car and wait. He then tells me and an extremely rude, loud and aggressive tone that he's on the phone and he'll be with me when done. So, I go inside and ask what I'm supposed to do because the rude guy outside wasn't helpful at all. Then, I just changed my mind and decided to leave l. I didn't want to have them service my car. So I walk back out and say politely, "you could have just said yes or no, there was no need to be like that". Then he pipes off again and I tell him have a good day buddy, to which he rudely replies in a loud and aggressive tone again, "you too ,BUDDY!!!!!".... So I park my car and go inside and ask who I can talk to. Then he walks up like he's about to attack me and says "that'd be me" and proceeds to tell me how rude I was again, so I wanted to talk to the person above him and he'd be back Monday. I leave and call, trying to talk to someone else, and somehow he ends up back on the phone. I told him he's not who I need to talk to. So, I sent e-mails to Joby Allen hoping he can help me resolve e this matter of a completely, rude, aggressive and out of line service"manager". I've seen better temperament in pit bulls. This guy should be nowhere near customers. At the end of the day, I don't need a "manager" aggressively posturing to me and yelling at me for something that could have been so simple. Next time, maybe talk to the customer when you make eye contact instead of ignoring them and getting in the phone, acting like that aren't there. Or, maybe just say hold on, I'll get you in a minute. Anything would have worked besides what he said and how he acted. This is completely unacceptable behavior. Oh, and I bought a 50k Tacoma at the same dealership a few months back, all cash. I won't be doing that there again, or giving them any service at all while he is working there. Totally unacceptable. This guy should be fired immediately. You shouldn't have people in managerial positions that make customers feel threatened.

The Karen at the Service Center desk is so inept, ignorant, and unprofessional I'll never take my vehicle here again.

They told my parents that if they wanted to pay cash rather than finance, they would tack on an extra $2000 above MSRP. I requested a cash price breakdown on their website and there was no such charge. I showed the website breakdown to the salesperson and she pointed to the disclaimer saying that the price could fluctuate due to inventory availability. I had run the numbers the day before. Their inventory didn't fluctuate since yesterday. They're just not advertising this extra charge. Other, more reputable dealers aren't doing this, even if you've heard that they are. Don't let them fool you. Walk away. By the way, my parents are senior citizens and they were very confused by all this. They hadn't purchased a car in a long time. They felt like they were being swindled but thought they didn't have a choice. We were expecting to pay full price for the car due to the shortage, but these guys are going too far. I really felt that they were taking advantage of senior citizens. Shame on you, Cumberland Toyota.

I don't think I'll be going there for service. Tried to yesterday and pulled in, as the sign said. Not busy. No one being served. I assumed someone would come out to sign me in. Then when counter person walked in front of my car a few times, studiously not looking at me , I got out and asked if I was supposed to go inside. She said yes. I asked if she couldn't have waved to me to come in, as I've not been here before. She told me she couldn't read my mind. Then asked what I needed. As I told her, I'd rather drive 100 miles for service -then left. A smile just isn't that hard folks. I'm driving a 50000 dollar Toyota and can't get service on it. Back to Beaman.

I scheduled an appointment for a rotate and balance on my 2013 tundra for April 8th. I showed up and dropped my truck off. They said it'd be about an hour. Get a call 15 minutes later stating that one of the lug nuts was broken and they didn't know if they could get it off. I said try for an hour and if you can't then I'll take it to a shop that can. At 11:30 I hadn't heard anything on my truck, been offered a rental or anything. I go in, they state they're waiting on the lug nut should be 15-20 minutes. At 12:35 I finally get told my truck was done, and that I owed $290 for a rotate and balance. The next day I get a call asking about my service told them about my incident then they told me they would talk with their service manager and see if they could get me partial reimbursement for my wait and no loaner was offered.Nothing was heard, showed up today April 21st because I was told that my lug nut that they had to order would of been in by the 11th. They replaced it, had to pay $16 for it and it doesn't even match what I currently have on my truck even though they are Toyota wheels. Let alone the fact that Toyota of Knoxville will wash my truck and provide 10 times better service than what I was NOT offered these past few weeks. I love Toyota but refuse to have any more services through Cumberland Toyota due to the awful service. Not one salesman greeted me on the lot while I was looking at their vehicles offered if I wanted to look at or test drive ANYTHING. I was told when the part came in I would be called, NOTHING. My mother scheduled an express oil change service, showed up 10 minutes prior and waited 20 minutes to be waited on, and then it took an hour and a half to service it. I wouldn't even give them one star if it was an option.

I was at Cumberland Toyota in Cookeville on 6/7/19. "Shame on You Toyota"!! Your customer service on a repair stinks! I was told to book a room for 4 nights till they could order and replace a Prius battery, with labor for $4,200!! First it is 3 times too much, and I was an older lady trying to get home to Marietta, GA. I was told by a mechanic "no way", you will not make it. Well guess what? I did make it and still driving. This also shows abuse of the elderly and being stranded alone hours from home.

I would really like to put 0 stars, but since that is not an option, I will give one star. I had some recall work done on my car and while it was there, they decided I needed something else done to it, before they could do the recall work. Not knowing any better I told them to go ahead and do that work also. It cost me an arm and a leg or two. Then, I found out from a friend that she had the exact same thing happen to her, but they did not charge her anything. When I tried to talk to someone about this, I got the runaround. And for some reason they would NOT let me make an appointment with the general manager to discuss this problem. Anyway, I would not recommend dealing with this dealership. Something fishy going on there.
