Pretty bad location the left turn to get in the TA is flat out dangerous.. you'll sit waiting forever for an opening.. the Hardee's is double the prices, everything is expensive.. won't stop here again

Had to give this TA 5 stars just because the shower cleaning guy... was very nice and let me wash my feet in his laundry room (which he really didnt have to, but did)...
It's had to find good hearted people nowadays...

This is an excellent gas station. It has food places such as Sbarro, Hardee's and a Mexican restaurant. The actual convenience section of the gas station was extremely clean, very wide, and with helpful staff. The prices here are excellent too.
All around, very good! Highly recommend.

Staff was nice and friendly. The chairs in the driver's lounge gave me the first night's sleep I've had in a week of being on the road. And the staff left me alone.

This TA Express location has tone one of the worst that I have ever visited. The from the poor plumbing in the showers to the insane amount of reserve parking. I had to stand in line to get a simple shower because the their system was not functioning properly. So I finally get a shower, once I got to the shower door to put in the code. The key pad wasn’t functioning. So I had to walk back to the register and have one of the workers to open the door with a key. Once I finally got into the shower room there was someone’s hair sprinkled in the sink, toilet seat, and a big hair ball showed up inside the drain of shower itself. Now I always shower in my flip flops by habit because I know I can’t trust folks to do their job correctly. But I had to cut my shower short because I didn’t want the water to go above the base of my flip flops. And they a pretty thick soles on my ADDIAS flip flops. Then I get back in my truck to rest after working a 11 hour shift. 2 kids came knocking on my door asking about paying for parking. I’ve already spent over $350 buying fuel now you want me to pay for parking. This needs to come to a STOP! This whole bleed the drivers dry is completely unnecessary and unfair. TA Express will never receive another cent from me again! Definitely this location. 1750 Salem Road in Cookeville, TN!!! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 for this location.

Beware when getting gas. They have signs up that say they are not responsible if you give them the wrong pump number however, twice I have given them the correct pump number and they put it on the wrong one… Almost seemed intentional.
Luckily, both times it was an open pump and I could move my car to The pump my gas was actually on.

I stopped here and it was the only place I used my cash card. My card started being charged for random things the next day.

Food court but it's not anything amazing, then reserved parking is a joke. Offered to pay, was told not to worry about it. Got woken up 5hrs later by two 20 somethings telling me I didn't pay. Confused I called local. During this time, an older gentleman with a white pony tail was banging on my cab throwing a fit and threatening to tow me while I was on phone with local. Just cause he had keys hanging around his neck he wanted me to roll down my windows. Idk, whole situation could have gone better. Especially the way the employees behaved. It's dangerous out here for a trucker, excuse me if I don't take you at your word but that was no way to behave. Made me think they were a bunch of junkies running a con.

Easy to find. Focus on curvy access road that leads to truck entrance/exit. A good amount of parking. I only fueled here, I had no time to go inside. As you depart this t.s., if turning left to get back on the highway, you'll need lots of patience because there is no traffic light there and traffic is constantly moving on both sides and therefore it takes some time to wait to pull out safely and go. There really needs to be a traffic light there.
