You can find gently used & new things that have been donated. It is a good place to find furniture, what nots, clothing, wall decorations, etc.

I am a local tattoo artist and a member of The Satanic Temple, which is a political organization that uses shock value to gain attention, so I have a baphomet star on the hood of my car, a pentagram tattooed on my chin and an upside down cross tattooed on my neck. I’m not against Christianity but I am against forcing religious beliefs and practices on people who don’t ask for it. I’ve read some reviews and this store is not deserving of one, two or three star reviews. They are extremely friendly, even to me, and I look like a heathen jerk. Their causes are just and their intentions are pure. The Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic was so helpful to my wife and I when we weren’t sure if she was pregnant or not, they got us an ultrasound the same day and offered us free diapers and such, we didn’t take them but if we were less fortunate then it would have been a beautiful worldly blessing made possible by donations collected in part by this store. I absolutely love the place and yeah if you go thrifting and search for overpriced used items then you will find them anywhere. Overall the items in the store have a surprisingly low price tag and maybe if you see something that you think is overpriced, maybe buy that item and give it to someone you know for free. That way you can donate money to beautiful charities and an individual, even maybe bring some peace to your own spirit. I don’t know, people are such haters and it really is sad . I completely support this charitable establishment and will refuse my services to anyone who speaks against them.

Had an issue arise but the owner stepped up and was helpful in getting it resolved. Nice stores at both locations and the employees are hardworking. Overall a good Christian based thrift store that support local charities. Thank you.

Went there the other day, and the prices were outrageous for a thrift store. $3.99 for a used baby onsie? No way. I understand that this is for charity, but most of the items are not priced fairly or at a good value. They wanted $69.99 for a used computer chair, $89.99 for an older table with 2 or 4 chairs. We found a mixer from the late 80s, early 90s, for $14.99!

I was so so disappointed with my shopping experience there today. I laid the things down I was going to purchase when I overheard a employee, brown haired woman with glasses bad mouthing a customer to the male cashier. The customer she was bad mouthing simply questioned her on the $14.99 pricing of a umbrella stroller and $4.99 pricing of children’s bottoms. I spoke up and said y’all have drastically increased your pricing. She got very defensive and said well everything has gone up, we had to get more in line with everyone else’s prices. In my opinion, that is the wrong attitude of a charitable organization that should be there to serve the community with their pricing, not raise their pricing to service another project. They have raised the clothing prices to be more in line with Goodwill prices and no longer have bag sales or 50%off. The sign just said 25% off on Thursday for military, seniors, teachers & students. Why would anyone pay $7.99 for Walmart brand bottoms, that are used? They also have increased pricing on housewares, I mean $9.99 for a newish glass Anchor Hocking measuring cup. I used to love shopping here, I doubt I will be back.

I love the thrill of the hunt. I love searching and finding gems! This place was pretty disappointing. Not sure if it was an off day, but I rarely leave thrift stores empty handed and I did when I came to visit Serenity Thrift. Definitely not worth the drive.

This is the perfect place to look for really GOOD deals! I found 7 beautiful formal dresses for teenage girls in our academy and Kim (front desk) was amazing! When she heard about the cause she went above and beyond to make this day extra special for our girls. I cried it truly was an answered prayer. I pray God will continue to use them to bless others!! The deals are better than any other thrift store I have been to before. I will definetly continue to support them in any way I can! Also, (hint, hint) this is a great place to donate to ?.
