“Tim always bails us out when we are down. He knows these machines. I hate to think where we would be without Tim. I personally have learned a lot from just talking with him. He is a true professional.”

“Being new to the area, we had stopped to grab some lunch before doing some shopping. We were getting a chair for our son who is on the spectrum. My husband named Staples & Office max as 2 options. We happened to be closer to staples so we went there. We were greeted by an associate & I explained our son was high functioning autistic with anxiety which means he can get hyper fixated & we needed certain specs on a chair for him. I also told him that he has went through about 3 chairs a year for past couple years. He automatically took us all the way around the chairs to grab a pamphlet off the back wall & started explaining that if he was going through that many chairs we needed to purchase the extended warranty or buy a 1000.00$ chair. I handed his pamphlet back & told him he would have been better off to listen to the rest of my conversation about my son than to up sale me, with that we left.We then drove to office max & we say about the same number of chairs to look at & we tried a few. After a few minutes, Jon approached us. We had already settled on a chair that we felt would be great for our son. I had the same conversation with Jon as I had at the other place (spelled without the "h" Jonathan bc I wanted to get his name). Jon checked but the only available 1 was the floor model & they were on back order but he did see some on Amazon. Supply chain being what it is we hesitated. Jon began to ask us what it was about that chair that we preferred. We pointed out some features & he tried to help us with other chairs that were similar. I didn't realize he had already told my husband we could take the floor model & they waved the assembly fee. I explained to Jon I appreciate that but I really needed it in the box bc we had other shopping to do & my SUV could only hold so ? I watched Jon doing his best to understand our situation from our point of view. Never once just telling us we needed a warranty & he listen to the way something as simple as the arm of the chair being attached to the back never lasted. How our son fidgeting wasn't something he realized he did & we needed certain features. Jon was gathering as much insight as he could to understand our needs, our sons special needs. He told us we could purchase the chair & come back for it after I explained I had concerns about room after getting groceries next. He was doing his best to help, not just sell a product but help.I was sold! I was taking that chair. After Jon rang us up & signed us up for the rewards program I explained to him I had said the same thing to an associate at staples but instead of trying to help us find something that would function & hopefully stand up a bit longer for our son he just assumed we were buying low priced items & needed a warranty. I told Jon my son didn't break chairs out of normal covered wear & tear but at 15 & already about 5'11" around 200 lbs. This was a child behaving like a child but in an adult size body! Jon stated he always tried to ask questions to put himself in the other person's shoes so he could be of more help. I told Jon that he would be seeing more of us for the simple fact he got in the solution with us instead of stating the problem. I hope Jon is recognized for his efforts. As a Mom of a child with special needs, which may not be obvious bc he is high functioning, it meant so much that without skipping a beat Jon was in the solution with us & made it his concerns as much as it was ours! That meant more than I have words to express! I don't know Jon's position but he certainly needs promoting bc he understands you have to serve to be able to lead. I was a general manager of different restaurants for over 20 years & he is the type of person I would have loved having on my management team. You have a true asset in Jon!”
