My favorite gas station since I moved to Putnam County back in 2012!Being a member of the Mapco Rewards program is also a good thing! Especially when you drive nothing but trucks. Lol. I got gas there today (February 22nd 2024) for 36¢ per gallon, using my rewards points, filling up the Suburban from empty to Full, with only $9.48. I was kinda nervous about that at first because I didn't think it would let me make that transaction, but, it did. Gas today was $2.79 and with my Rewards points, I got $2.43 off per gallon. I'd definitely recommend the rewards program to those of you who love going to Mapco. If you love buying their merchandise from the inside of the store, then you can earn rewards points from the purchase of those items, that can go towards dollars and cents off per gallon when you fill up. They send you an email weekly around Wednesday/Thursday for an extra amount off per gallon that you don't have to use rewards points for. It's usually an amount that's already added to the everyday 3¢ off that you get for becoming a Rewards member. Sign up for one today at any Mapco, not just Cookeville's location. You have a major problem with your employee "Ozzy". Since when can a cashier call a customer who is politely asking why their sign isn't matching the purchase price a "morherf+cker"? Are they allowed to violently yank items out of a customer's hand because they ask for a price adjustment to match their ADVERTISING PRICE? I've contacted corporate and nothing has been done about this punk. They didn't even bother to call back after I was told the district manager would. I will tell everyone not to go there unless this punk is dealt with. This is THREE times he's been violent towards a customer. Once I witnessed wasn't me but the customer in line in front of me. DON'T GO TO MAPCO UNTIL OZZY IS FIRED!

The cashier was very helpful and efficient when the pump wouldn't take my card. I would give five stars except, you know, the pump wouldn't take my card.
