After waiting for 15 minutes for someone to pick up the phone in the pharmacy - a person picks up and promptly hangs up after I barely got the word ‘hello’ out. That’s 15 min of a break I barely get from work to try and take care of a needed medicine. No wonder this store has a low rating. They need help regional CVS manager!!

This place took 3 hours to process a simple steroid pack and cough medicine. The service was unfriendly and very short with me. Overall go to Walgreens, I have never been treated like I was a burden by a pharmacy before.

This location used to be excellent, so I guess I got spoiled. Now, I consistently arrive hours, sometimes the day after, my prescription has been sent over to find that they are “backed up”, “really busy” , and have yet to get to our prescriptions. It’s frustrating because it used to be ready when I arrived the first time- not 30 minutes to 5 hours later. Inside is not much better, they have self checkout and good luck finding an employee since they have installed the self check out.

Has the pleasure of trying to get customer service from this CVS again. Horrible if they do not want to serve the public then get a different job. If you don’t believe me try calling and getting a script fix or heck just try to get them to answer the phone.

Like all other pharmacies in this city , they are just too busy to handle the ginormous amount of customers this city contains. I had an issue with a refill due to a prior authorization issue and attempted to call, my call was answered and then hung up five times in a row. I transferred to this cvs from the worst Walgreens in the world which is directly across the street. My advice , if you live in Cookeville, just don't take medicine. Or get them in another city.

Great friendly associates that are willing to help you and keep a good additude while doing it. I have had to return a few items bc a different store didnt take the coupons and ecb werent on my reciept so this location solved rhe problem and made the purchase correct with me. Thanks williw ave. Cookeville, tn CVS! MUCH APPRECIATED

I’ve been a customer here for a while and I always appreciate how quick they are to fill prescriptions. However, do not go close to their lunch break. You can be waiting in line for 20 min and the moment it hits 1:30 they shut you out without even saying anything to you. They need to do away with being closed for lunch and take staggered lunch breaks again or have better signs posted about being closed.

I've been a customer here for many years, and it's been problem free about 97% of the time, and the only problems occurred over a decade ago. My FORMER pharmacy was really bad about putting medications for OTHER people in with mine, and the third time that happened, I changed to CVS. No regrets!

Refused reasonable accommodation for disabled persons. Resulted in multiple confusing situations. Staff then laughed at the customer and their spouse heard it. How incredibly rude and embarrassing. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere!

CVS is a preferred provider for my insurance provider and I've never had an issue with scripts. Today I went into the store shortly after they opened for a vaccine. I was the only customer there, and they were clearly busy with their morning tasks, which I understand. However, the individual that administered the vaccine was super rude and I think she seriously enjoyed making that vaccine as painful as possible. I'm not a sensitive type but this gal stabbed me. Five hours later, site is quite painful and swollen. I will not return to that store.
