My boyfriend's membership was canceled here after 7 years of membership due to disrepair of the facilities. Having adequate facilities is important right now because he just had gastric bypass weight loss surgery.

This place is great. It's like an old school gym with actual weight lifting equipment, not just machines all over the place like some of the other gyms.

I use this gym and it has all the basics. However, if you want "fancy" equipment you are better off going somewhere else. It also has a strange smell 90% of the time. However, the people are awesome and a real workout doesn't need fancy equipment, just self motivation. It's also nicely spaced out so you aren't on top of each other during the workout.

Do not sign up here unless you want to be harassed anytime you feel like freezing your account or canceling your membership. I went back home for the summer and the workers gave me bad looks and attitude when I said I wanted to freeze my account for 3 months. They make it as hard as possible to cancel or freeze by forcing you to send in a signed letter stating that you want to cancel. None of the workers are intrested in talking to you or being friendly to you. I got into a shouting match with the owner when I went to their gym to ask why they kept charging me after I sent in my cancellation letter. The owners started interrogating me about why I was cancelling. They are more of a cult than a gym.

I LOVED IT!!! The gym is newly remodeled and as a shy new gym member I was made to feel very comfortable. I LOVE THE NEW LADIES ONLY GYM THEY HAVE INSIDE If you want to get away from the men in the gym just walk in the private ladies only gym!
