Don't like to take cash! I guess they'd rather pay a credit card processing fee. I will take my money elsewhere.

I would guestimate I’ve done business with or been in contact with 1,000-1,500 people since moving to Tennessee. Today I came across the first person to be completely rude and unprofessional. Thomas was his name and if he sees this review I hope his day gets better. To all the other employees who were clearly embarrassed at the way Thomas was acting, thank you.In conclusion, for every 1,000-1,500 friendly people in Tennessee there’s one out to try to ruin your day. Today it was at this UPS Store location.Sincerely,The Big Box, Bean Bag couple

I have used the Columbia UPS store on several occasions and have always been given phenomenal service. The employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I've used other such facilities and there is no comparison. A definite 5 stars!

I was in this location paying for a UPS package to be shipped when I overheard the manager inform a customer that he could not notarize a document because she had already signed the document. The young lady had her identification in her hand and advised that yes she had in fact signed the document and attested to the fact that this was her signature. As any trained notary SHOULD know, all you are doing is acknowledging her statement…which was, “this is MY SIGNATURE…”By definition, An acknowledgment is a declaration by the signer of a document that he or she has executed the document freely and voluntarily. Since she is only acknowledging her signature, the signature could have been affixed some days, weeks, months, or even years earlier. AS LONG AS the signer is personally present before the notary and acknowledges the signature, then the notary can proceed with performing the notarial act. I informed the Notary that he was incorrect by refusing her service. I attempted to show him the laws governing Notorial acts. I even suggested he look at the license and her signature in his book so that he would feel more comfortable seeing her signature matched. He kept claiming that is not how he was trained and that he could not help her. I asked if he would let her sign the document again in front of him and again he declined…I advised him once again of the rules and offered to notarize it myself since he was clearly not able to assist her and had already refused her business more than twice…at which time he literally cussed me and threw me out claiming I was “poaching his customer.” First of all sir, YOU turned her away so she wasn’t YOUR customer and when I tried to educate you and explain that you COULD in fact notarize it, you again declined because that’s “not what you were told.”I didn’t poach anyone. I offered a notarization for a lady that needed help when you would not or “could not” help her for whatever reason. This is apparently NOT the first time this location has turned people away for one reason or another. The previous issues seemed to be discriminatory in nature and this time just a training issue. You don’t have to work for an attorney to know the rules of being a notary, you just have to educate yourself and your employees prior to allowing them to notarize. It IS YOUR JOB AS A NOTARY TO KNOW THE RULES. Consider reading The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility. Discrimination is just bad for business and ignorance is not a reason to not do your job. I would be careful before someone reports this behavior to the state. And if you don’t want to be cussed, threatened and thrown out, don’t bother going in. My corporate account will be using another company effective immediately.

I couldn't say enough things about my two very positive experiences with this family owned business!! Alan went above and beyond to help me with an unusual shipping need at the last visit. I felt so peaceful during the whole process! I look forward to working with you all again in the future. Thank you again for all of your kindness and help!

Friendly, efficient, and so very pleasant! I don’t usually write reviews for places that I only spend a few minutes in to drop off a return, but I’m impressed by the employees’ professionalism here and how nice my experience was. The parking lot does get quite busy and crowded so you really need to be careful backing out.Folks who want to cry about private businesses carrying out mask policies for the sake of public health should stop screaming like toddlers and shifting blame onto the fantastic people working behind the counter here.Edit: lmao they must really see some…interesting folks at this location if you read the reviews

the women in the office are horrible, the manager is an awful person to work for. I think ups should be looked into. they do not care about their employees at all. the whole columbia hub should be looked into. they are an awful company. the drivers are awesome but the managers and women in the office need more training on how to talk to and deal with people. especially their employees. I mean that too

I just witnessed a conversation between a VERY rude and entitled customer and an employee. The way employee Alexander stayed calm and professional while the customer was beyond rude was 10/10! Every person there has been so nice and helpful every time I’ve been, so it’s a shock to me to see some of these reviews. Be nice to people that are there to help you.

They refused service due to no mask and called the police on me. Only after they refused service did they disclose the curbside option. I am new to the area and have never encountered such arrogance and rude behavior. They are not pro health, they refused to read my medical information. When they told me about curbside, I said, "okay fine, I'll wait in my car" then they said, we aren't serving you because you are now trespassing. After speaking with the local police supervisor I will be pursuing legal counsel. This store was unprofessional and rude and it is unfortunate. Do not take your business here. I asked if there was another ups store and they told me a different city all together.

This store and it's employees have been truly so nice and kind to me and my family. Every worker in the store has always been very sweet and always saying hello to everyone. This store has taken precautions to ensure the safety of not only the workers but the customers as well against the virus. I have always been very pleased as I am in the store and leaving it because I feel safe. I support a family owned business and one who works as hard as they do to produce a great service to its community!
