The reconnection fee for accounts disconnected on the prepaid service are UNETHICAL why even offer a service for those who can’t afford to pay the extravagant fees for deposits. Ridiculous!

Great parking lot to eat Zaxby’s in. Clean, quiet, 10/10. No interruptions by those paying their bills.

I cannot thank Allisha Jackson enough for her assistance with my start of service. She went above and beyond to help me during the week of Thanksgiving. CPWS needs to acknowledge her caring professionalism. I will forever be grateful for your help!

There is lady by the name Kim that works in I assume the billing department and I don’t think in my entire life I’ve spoken to someone about a Bill and they have been as nice as her. I have called many companies for Bill questions and if they all had a person like that it would be so nice.

This is the 2nd power outage. When I tried to report it, in their website I don’t see an option to actually report it. All you get is an outage map. When I tried to call to report it, I selected the option to use the automated system to report but it transferred me somewhere and it was just silent and nothing happened. Then I called and choose to report it to a person. After waiting for 30 minutes a person answered and then acted like they could t hear me when I was speaking directly into my phone mic. They said hello two times and then hung up. Not good.

Just moved to Columbia, TN from Minneapolis, MN. I sat on the phone for 33 minutes and spoke with 4 different people and was finally told to try calling back in 15 minutes to hopefully speak with someone that could help me with getting an account set up. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, but nobody knew anything or were able to help me.UPDATE: Finally got through to someone after calling back that was able to help me. I think the main problem is with the automated phone system they're using.

Thank you CP&W for sending Travis to save the day ?We had water leak in box this morning and it was a holiday so he came and fixed it quickly. Replaced washer and up and running. The young ladies who took my call, responded quickly and very helpful. They were wonderful with it being a holiday and all. So relieved. Great Job. ???

Lisa in Broadband Customer Service really needs her calls monitored. Why is Lisa SO mean? Every time! I even asked for a supervisor without getting one. Her rude & smart tongue has to be overheard by coworkers like Angel so I hope Angel doesn't think it is right. When even the tech comes out, they won't comment why Lisa is like "ma'am, I told you...!" & what she said isn't right, correct info. Lisa shouldn't work the phones. I worked 33 years Customer Service & I am a Senior. Show some respect ? Next Door has complaints about her too. I would be fired if I talked to people like Lisa. .

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I own five houses in Columbia, all of which are serviced by CPWS. If I can’t get good service or a reasonable person on the phone or operate their antiquated internet service, then how can I expect my tenants to get good service? Every person and every business in this county despises CPWS and has tried to overcome their monopoly. Maybe we’ll eventually succeed.

My family and I have been with out power for the past 3 weeks and we have gotten approval to have our power back on. Also both my mother and I have called multiple time today.3/31/23 Still they close at 5 which means that my family will be without it even longer. My brother has diabetes and we have been freezing at night. I cannot believe the fact that no one has reach out to us today and that there seems to not be a single person in the office and we live right next to the company. We are outrage especially when I have been on hold for about 45 minutes.

Disconnected during winter with a baby and a work from home single parent. Yes I'm late on payment but they usually cut it on temporarily cause I'm good about paying back but I was refused and now having a mental breakdown....Thanks for putting a family's health and income at risk. Can't pay you if I can't work... not rocket science. Is this legal?

Takes advantage of being the only company in town. There's no reason why anyone should be paying $70-$100 a week for electric/water. With prepaid, you're charged an additional "reconnection fee" of $15 that you never see. It does not go towards your bill at all. They just keep that money for their selves? I've used prepaid services before with other companies & they have never costed so much money or trouble before. Everytime I call to see what the issue is, I'm always told a different story. They have yet to tell me why they charge an additional fee & what it goes to.

Am looking for Fiber Internet options in my area so i decided to call them and see what they have to offer, all 3 times got put on hold then hung up on. I guess they've lost my business before they could even have it.

I pay 70$ a month for internet only which is the “fastest” they said at the time. However, I’ve never had more problems than I do with their broadband service. My internet, which I only use for my cell phone and TV go out ALL the time. My boyfriend plays Xbox and only he can be on the Wifi or it will lag really bad. All together not a good service.
