Wonderful shop full of all sorts of things. Eclectic mix of boutique, homemade, vintage, type store. Every staff member is sweet and helpful, but Scott with 35 South gets a special shout out for customer service BEYOND belief. He made a Christmas miracle happen. So happy to have made it in and will be back!

This place is absolutely adorable. So much to see in every nook and cranny and perfect if you are looking for a little gift for someone. The store is divided into many small rooms and it allows different vendors to display their goods. I especially enjoyed looking at the art work and wooden work and signs.
Baxter’s Mercantile of Columbia is a gift shop just off the square in downtown and is home to over 40 locally owned merchants offering a wide range of merchandise. We are the proud home of hand-made home décor, rare collectibles, furniture, clothing, gifts of all shapes and sizes, and some of the best snacks in town! We love Muletown and sell many Columbia and Tennessee-themed items. This community means the world to us and we love participating in fun events like Columbia First Fridays, as well as many events that we host throughout the year. Whether you are a local, new to the area, or visiting from out of town, Baxter’s Mercantile of Columbia is sure to have the perfect gift for every person on your list!
