Great, honest repair guys. My batteries went out in my GMC 2500 and all kinds of different codes showed up. Had it at a local dealership at first for 10 days and no work was done. I brought it to these guys and less than two days later they were able to fit me in and diagnose that the batteries were the only problem. Will definitely go back for future needs

Had unexpected car troubles this afternoon and my car ended up breaking down on the side of the highway. I was an anxious mess trying to find someone to help in an area I was unfamiliar with. Joe took excellent care of me and my car and got me back on the road in an hour. and on a Saturday afternoon too! Highly recommend Joe and his shop!

We are in Collierville from Tx visiting family. Before we left TX we took our Tahoe to Firestone to get new tires and an alignment. Firestone told us that our ball joints all need to be replaced because they were in terrible condition but said it could wait until we get back in town. When we got to Collierville my husband wanted to go ahead and get them replaced before we traveled back. Southern Automotive was able to get us in very quickly. Once they inspected our SUV they called us to let us know that absolutely nothing was wrong with our ball joints and that our Firestone location in TX was very dishonest trying to charge us almost $1000 for repairs that were not needed.This auto repair shop not only saved us a lot of money but their customer service was outstanding! Extremely kind, respectful & HONEST which is apparently extremely rare nowadays. I would 100% recommend this auto repair business to anyone needing a trustworthy mechanic!!

I am not one to leave reviews, but I felt it was only fitting to take my time to reflect on my experience with Southern Automotive. I have been using them for YEARS for oil changes, new tires and brake pads, and all the things needed to keep my car up and running top notch. The customer service that I have been served has been more than than I could have asked for. I recommend anyone and everyone needing service to stop by Southern Automotive. Ask for Joe and tell him I sent you there! If he can fix all my car problems, he can definitely fix yours! :)

I heard horror stories about this place but didn't believe it. Wished I had though. Took my truck here and never again. They misdiagnosed my truck and quoted me a ridiculous bill to fix it and after I said no, they asked if I wanted to sell it like it is, like I'm stupid. Do not take your truck here, take it to Burleson diesel if you need your diesel truck repaired.

We were having problems with the 4 wheel drive on our 4500 Ram, Joe was able to figure out what was going on. Found what caused the problem( mostly us not paying attention), ordered the parts and had it fixed in just a couple days. We will definitely use these guys again. Easy to work with and didn't make me feel like a dummy. Thanks fellas!
