Don't be deceived by his bible verse on his website. I will tell you our experience with Midsouth Container. My husband saw a sign in Lake City, Arkansas advertising shipping containers for sale and he called because he wanted to buy one locally. This sign was by someone selling for Midsouth Container. When he inquired about a container he told the salesman about our long narrow driveway. Before making the purchase he spoke to the company owner, Brian Rickman and discussed the concerns he had about the delivery. He told Brian that a pickup truck with a 40 foot trailer could make it. He knew that because a pickup truck and 40 foot trailer had been here to remove our old storage building. Brian assured him that he used the best delivery drivers and it wouldn't be a problem. We sent him our payment for $4200 of which $400 was his shipping price. He proceeded to send the 40 foot container on an 18 wheeler truck. The driver could not get into our driveway and he returned the container to Southaven. When Brian sent our refund he deducted $550 for shipping. Brian failed us as his customer. My husband was very concerned about the driveway and Brian neglected to even attempt to check on this. My husband even told him to deliver it with a pickup truck and trailer but Brian delivered with an 18 wheeler which is entirely too big to get into our narrow driveway. Brian also neglected to mention that if his driver could not make the delivery we were responsible for the "dry run" cost. We found another company to purchase a 40 foot cargo container afterwards. This container has been delivered successfully with a pickup truck and trailer.
