Memphis' Best Moving & Storage is by far the best moving company I have ever used! Starting with our initial meeting and Justin's estimate, which turned out to be exact, and ending when the last piece of furniture was put into place, Justin's professionalism throughout made for a very pleasant, stress-free move! Justin, the owner, was with us every step of the way. When Justin first arrived at our home to do the estimate, I was skeptical of Justin's promises to save me 20% from our last move, to give me his wholesale prices for materials and that everything would arrive in the same condition as it was in prior to the move. However, when he produced the receipt for the materials and showed me how well he packaged my furniture, I was immediately put at ease! Most professional moving company I have ever used. However, when he produced the receipt for the materials and showed me how well he packaged our furniture, I was immediately put at ease! His professionalism, experience and honesty assured me that I had selected the best company possible. The day prior to the move, Justin and his crew came to pack my household goods into boxes. I appreciated that they didn't rush and try to do the packing and moving in the same day. The last time I moved, the company packed and moved our house in the same day and it was not a pleasant experience to say the least. They didn't finish until 1 or 2 in the morning, so by the end of it my wife and I were mentally and physically exhausted. It took us a week to recover! Justin and his crew worked very hard and steady, but never made us feel hurried or stressed. I was very impressed by how they packaged and prepared our furniture. I had never seen anything like it! He packaged furniture better than anyone or any company that I have ever seen! When he first arrived he prepared our couch. Right then I knew Justin was being truthful when he said that he had not had a damage claim in over 8 years. After putting moving blankets on the couch, Justin wrapped the couch from top to bottom with shrink wrap, so the couch was completely sealed and waterproof. My wife and I joked and said that it was tornado proof! They did an excellent job of putting the rest of our valuables in boxes. After they finished putting our furniture in place, reassembling our furniture, and reconnecting our appliances, Justin did a final walk through with us. We examined the furniture and just as promised, the furniture was in the exact condition as it was in prior to the move, and when we unpacked the boxes, not a thing was missing or broken! Justin lived up to his promises and saved us 20% from our last move. I will never use another moving service and I "HIGHLY" recommend this company to everyone. Thanks again Justin for an excellent Job.

We had Justin, the owner, come out and evaluate our home. He gave us a quote for how many hours, what all he could do, what he provided. He promised to take excellent care of our home. I told him on a previous move, we had 5 men and 2 big trucks; he assured me he would do better with one truck and 5 men. What we got on moving day, Saturday, was; one truck and 4 men, including Justin. One of his employees quit not long after arriving, so we were down to 3 men. They got the first load packed and loaded, and had to issues getting the truck up the driveway, so they had to move the furniture and boxes up the drive. We fed them lunch, they worked to about 5, and said they needed to leave that one of the workers had to take his baby to the hospital. My husband asked him to at least get our bed over there, so we could sleep. Justin agreed, but never brought the bed. Justin promised they would be back the next day. He said he would be back "first thing". After not hearing from him after many calls and texts; at 10am, he answered. Stating he could not find workers. But he would be there shortly. Needless to say the only moving that day, was what my family had to do. All the upstairs boxes were stacked in the living room. My husband finally got him Sunday night, and he promised he would be there at 7 the next morning. We debated about firing him and using another mover, but felt like we were halfway in, and it would cost us a fortune to start over and we would not be able to hire a new mover such short notice. Since we had to be out of our house by the end of the day Monday. He arrived at 7:40, with two men, one of which was Justin. My husband and Justin met and agreed that we would not be responsible for extra charges or the truck rental since the job had not been finished on Saturday. They agreed on a max price we would pay. They loaded the truck, and made the first load. Before they delivered it, they picked up a 3rd worker. They delivered that load and went back for another load. Justin delivered the 2nd load and came in and requested a check for the day. I asked him to wait on my husband and he insisted. I knew no beds were constructed and our things were everywhere, but assumed he would finish the agreed upon job before they left. Just could not wait. I gave him the check, and in what seemed like minutes he was gone. I texted him, to find out where he went, because my husband wasn't back from the old house, less than 2 miles away yet. No answer. My husband started calling and texting him, since he had been at the old house and there was still tons of our furniture and items there. A broken box of framed photos, thrown into a corner in the living room, among other things; without being notified. My husband advised me to stop payment on the check. We didn't hear back from him, til he got to the bank, and they refused to cash it. He called and spoke to my husband, who told him he would not be paid for the day until he finished. Justin finally agreed to meet my husband at the old house, and they essentially had a shouting match in the front yard. He agreed to finish the job, and made another load. He then told my husband he was done. He reminded him there was still a great deal of stuff at the old house, and there were beds to construct and mirrors to install. We could not have been more disappointed by Justin. His crew was kind, professional and hard working. We hate that the actions of their employer, affected the review of their service. Even one of the workers on Monday apologized to my husband over what had transpired. I would not ever recommend Justin and Memphis' Best Movers for anything. He made our move into our new home, a nightmare, instead the joyous occasion it should have been.

This guy sounded as professional as can be. Very polite and courteous. That's all I can say about him. I do not know his work ethics because he was supposed to come out and move our stuff out of the storage into our newly built home but could not make it. We set a time for 9 a.m. and 9 a.m. came and went. I called him and he stated that it would be 10am before he could be there. I agreed and said okay come on. 10:30 am came and still no Movers. I called him back and again he said that he was still running behind. I then ask him again when he thought he could be there and he said 12:30 p.m. I agree to 12:30 p.m. because at this point I couldn't find another mover for the same day because it was to late. 12:30pm came and I still didn't seen him. I called him and then he tried to set it for the next day. We ended up renting a U-Haul and hiring three guys that we knew to come out and do it for us. This has made my moving experience very unpleasant and stressful. Did not need it because we just finished building our house and that was too stressful in itself. Please check reviews before going with someone just because they sound professional and the rates are cheaper than most. I wish him luck if he can get it together.

Justin helped us move from Memphis to a condo in Oxford recently and he was great to work with before, during and after our move. He checked in to confirm and arrived 15 minutes early (which I appreciate since it has not been my experience with other movers I've used!). Everything was exceptionally well wrapped and packed. We had no issues whatsoever with damage. He and Hunter worked tirelessly to get us all set up in one afternoon. It was a smooth process. So if you are looking for a great, reliable, well priced local mover, I recommend calling Justin!
