If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went on the 19th of April and asked for help picking out a headset for a PS4 as a birthday gift and the STORE MANAGER picked one out for me. I asked for a wireless headset for a PS4 and i asked for their help since I don’t know anything about gaming at all. The STORE MANAGER himself handed me a headset and said that that one should work. It was a headset for a XBOX but he reassured and insisted that it would work for the PS4 since the brand was known for being universal. Well he was wrong. It in fact did not work for the PS4 and per their return policy there was nothing they could do about it. It’s absolutely disappointing as I feel like he completely took advantage of me since he knew I knew nothing about what I was purchasing at all. When I went today to try to return or exchange the headset, him and his employee who originally checked me out were sitting outside on the bench, and they whispered amongst themselves as I was walking in, so I am sure, they knew what they were doing that day and just wanted to make a sale. 0/10 recommend, should’ve just gone to target next door.

I drove out of my way get to the front door guy sees me ignores me puts up a sign that says ON BREAK locks it and walks off. You close an entire retail store for a break the week before Christmas? Wow, not to mention rude to not apologize or say anything. Go somewhere else.

Whereas my previous experience has been wonderful, I have to amend my assessment of this store. For the past 10 days the store has been very hit-or-miss. Lights will be on bit no one manning the store. The problem stems from management, well lack thereof now, and many people are quitting. With a store with limited employees, it is a very big issue. I hope they can reevaluate the situation and hire good employees and managers.

Probably one of the worse GameStop I’ve been too… Called them over 10 times to no answer so I assumed they were closed or super busy. Neither was the case. Once I arrived I even called inside the store and the employee still refused to answer the phone. Today wanted to grab some Pokémon cards for my kid, at 6:40PM and the store was locked before 7pm. Definitely would recommend GameStop but not this one.

The listed policy for GameStop involving price matching is clear online. When I went in to the store to purchase some games while Price matching, before, asking me, more context, one of the workers assured me that they no longer do price matching. This is not true as I went to another GameStop location clarified with an assistant manager and a manager that the only adjustment to the price matching was that they would not price match $10 games at Best Buy. A recommendation would be instead of pushing back with such firm response, would be to ask more questions before assuming a hard no. This location lost a sale in a customer.

I came into today with lots of old gift cards and the employee working today was extremely helpful in helping me redeem them. Because the gift cards were so old, he called customer service himself and manually verbalized each card in order for me to use them for purchases. It took about 10 minutes because of the tedious process, but, again, he assured me that he was there to help! He also gave me great recommendations on headsets and was extremely kind and patient! I didn't get his name, but I wanted to reach out and show appreciation for the 5-star customer service I received. Thank you so much for your help!
