Great customer service in these difficult circumstances of just trying to get someone to do a normal job of maintaining our car. Cecil’s does their best to maintain an accurate schedule and to perform professional repairs.

I used to swear by these guys and I would often give them referrals. I had to wait two weeks for an appointment on a Friday morning. I didn't hear a word from them the entire day. I attempted to call them several times at 5:00 PM and, when they finally answered, I was informed that they had not had an opportunity to look at my car. It's certainly not the Cecil's that I once knew.

Updated review - I wanted to give Cecil's a second chance - after my van's sliding door lock seized. I called on June 5th and they said their first appointment would be on 6/21. I brought in my vehicle at open I ng time, hoping they could get to it that day, since I had an appointment.Long story short, they did not get to it on that day and started looking at it the following day. They called and gave me a more expensive than dealership estimate for the work. When I asked if I could pick up the vehicle for a second opinion, they said they had already performed a significant amount of labor, so it would not be wise to take it somewhere else. Being stuck now I asked them to proceed to perform the repair.That was on a Thursday morning, and they said the part would be in the next day, and they could complete it then (Friday 6/23). They did not get it done that Friday, so I had to wait all the way until Monday noon to pickup my overpriced repaired vehicle. They blamed the delays to the fact that the service technician did not know how to replace the lock. After getting a high end estimate for service, this is not what someone wants to hear!!Bottom line: do not use Cecil's - they have terrible communications, bad customer service and overpriced, unknowledgeable service.

I took my truck to firestone after 2 failed attempts to fix my air I finally took everyone's advice made an appointment to put my truck in cecils and dropped it off at 730 in the morning on Friday they called me at 830 told me I needed a compressor and a dryer picked my truck up at 5 pm with freezing cold air I should have went there in the first place but I'm impatient and didn't want to wait for an appointment I learned my lesson the hard way from now on I will go nowhere else for my automotive needs thanks guys my air is so cold I can't turn it up over the low setting it will freeze you out of the truck

I had a nail in my tire with a slow leak. I went to other places like Walmart, Goodyear, Firestone and called some like Pep Boys. All wanted to charge me $25.00 or more not including taxes. Also, they all said it could take hours before they could get to me. I called Cecil's. I was told to come on by. They were very busy but this one guy, I didn't get his name, saw me pull into the parking area. He asked for my keys and in about 15 minutes it was done! I had read the previous reviews and didn't believe them but they never ask for my name or anything. I will try to make an effort to use your business more often.Update: They did it again. Professional and fixed my flat again. Can't thank them enough. Recent bad weather made the roads a mess. They fixed my flat withing an hour.Service: Tires

I would have liked to get in a little sooner but I made an appointment for water pump and motor mounts and other stuff and the did it all in one day before closing and at a reasonable price. I like these folks alot and they seem quite honest!!

I'm relatively new to the area but needed a trustworthy mechanic and had seen my neighbors rave about Cecil's Automotive, so I decided to try them when I had a low tire. I went in around 4pm as a walk in, and was worried they wouldn't be able to see me based on the large number of vehicles already there (so many that there wasn't a parking spot). Within three minutes of speaking with the man at the counter, my car was being pulled into the bay. Within 15 minutes, someone was handing me my keys. There was a nail in my tire and they plugged it for free! I'm not even an existing customer! They didn't even intake my information. I don't think I've ever had service like that at a repair facility.I will be back for future automotive needs!

My Jeep ruptured a brake line Monday evening after hours. Limped it to Cecil's around 11pm and put the key in an envelope with my name and number and problem, dropped it in the mail slot, and called them the next morning, they said they had the key, and would get me going as soon as they could, but probably three days. They called me Wednesday at 5pm to tell me it was ready. I couldn't pick it up til the following day. They said someone (another shop) had kinked the brake line, also on the other side, that's what had caused the break. $200 later I'm back on the road! Great service, nice to deal with.

Okay, this is an awesome experience. I called two hours ago after I found a nail in my rear tire and I asked if I need to make an appointment. Neal, the manager answered the phone and told me to just stop by and they will take care of it. Sure thing I stopped by and they remove the nail and plugged the hole in 10 minutes. What is even amazing is Neal did want to charge me for it but I insisted. I am still in their parking lot writing this review because this is how you run a business. This was supposed to be a quick one time fix, but now they have my business for anything that is auto. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience.Service: Brake service & repair
