We have loved this practice but are very sad and disheartened that Dr. Sheerer is not longer a provider. He was the epitome of a physician who understood a patient's problems and worked diligently to help. This is indeed a rare quality in this day and time. Hopefully we can find if he has joined another practice.

I had contacted Galen Medical Group about making an appointment with Dr John E Tapp MD. After being contacted by a female at this group, I was informed that Dr Tapp is not taking new patients. I inquired if they could refer me to a PCP that is taking new patients. I was informed, without any offer of help, that the soonest appointment would be in August and if I needed something, sooner, that Galen was not the group for me. I find this response VERY OFFENSIVE AND NON- PROFESSIONAL.

Awful and rude service from staff. Poor care and lack of interest provided by doctors as well. I had to wait hours to be seen on a previous visit but on the visit today, after checking in the staff stated that they could not see me because I was 2 minutes late. A representative informed me over the phone that my appointment time was 4:30. When I arrived the front desk stated that they were canceling my visit because they only had a 15 minute grace period, and I arrived at 4:32 due to traffic. 2 minutes behind and they cancelled?? But I can wait on them for hours before being seen. Maybe this was just my experience as an African American woman. As a registered nurse myself, I would not recommend this place.

I'm usually a hard stick; the phlebotomist at Galen Medical East Ridge was wonderful. She found the vein no problem and I didn't feel any pain from the needle.

Sandra Aaron, Nurse practitioner is great to work with. She is totally onboard with preventative health and a more natural approach to medicine. She is also very pleasant and positive!! Would highly recommend?

Dr. Sherrer and his NP are the best, they always take their time and listen throughly! I appreciate their kindness, professionalism, and commitment to always making the goal of me being better or feeling better when I’m sick! Thanks for all you do!!

There should be some consideration for weather and new patients. Find out how far they had to drive, find out weather conditions, don't turn someone away bc of 6 mins over your time to be there. Never have I been to a dr appt and they're on time.

Dr. Tapp is one of the finest physicians I have met in my career as a doctor, and he is also my personal GP. He listens well, he cares about my problems, and he tries to match a treatment to my personal situation. On a more practical level, the on-site lab draws blood immediately after the appointment, which is quick and efficient. As a pathologist myself, I really appreciate the quality of their lab. I recommend this group highly and without reservation.

No respect for patient time. I and my wife have regularly had to wait 1 to 2 hours AFTER our appointment time just to be called back to a room, often leading to another 30 minute wait there. Ever since Galen bought the clinic, it has become a shell of its former self. I and my wife will be taking our medical needs out of the Galen network.

Dr. Tapp is a very capable and caring doctor. My husband and I started going to him years ago when Dr. Walter Puckett retired and we were both very pleased with his professionalism.

My first impression of Mountain View Medicine was the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Special thanks go to Madison (booked appts when my husband and I didn't think we could get in) and Kim for quickly taking care of our requests. Dr. Oliver Bujak has the best bedside manner. While visits to the doctor are not at the top of my list, my husband and I had a very pleasant experience.

I see Lindsey Walden here. She is absolutely amazing. Every time I’ve gone, she has listened to my concerns, explained everything in a compassionate way, when I had a bit of a predicament, she was so flexible in getting me in. I highly recommend her to anyone looking. She’s the sweetest!
