I can’t recommend this place enough!
A small family owned & such kind people.
After being quoted almost 1,000$ for a transmission pan repair by hixson transmission, Drew and his team came recommend & I paid 1/4 of the price and they were so fast. I couldn’t be happier!

month ago, they put a new set of tires on my 2015 Jeep Weangler, with aftermarket wheels, lug nuts, and spacers. They never said "we can't do it because liability" when they were getting $1,100. from me.
However, when I brought in my Right Hand Drive JDM Mazda 323F, with aftermarket wheels, lug nuts, and spacers in, to have a balance problem checked out, they said
"There's too much liability and not enough profit". That's what the guy said, verbatim. I was astonished that when they had a guaranteed $1,100+ dollars coming their way, they were more than happy to work on my Jeep, but without that guarantee beyond looking at the problem I brought my Mazda in for, I was told they couldn't even look at it and "Nobody would touch it" (another direct quote). The vehicles in question, with their respective aftermarket modifications, are in the attached images. The Jeep photo was taken after the NEW tires were installed, and alignment/balance done. The picture of my Mazda was taken last night. Discretion is how we determine our best course, and mine will take me far away from JB’s.

Edit 1 Post Reply From Exxon:
You’re right, comparing them apples to apples is silly, so I’ll revise it to “You never asked if the spacers were “quality parts”, and never offered any ultimatum, and went as far as to say “nobody at other companies would look at it” either, as if to just assume it was a lost cause. Drew, the individual I spoke to, took a look at my car through the window, following a lukewarm explanation of what it might possibly be, from me, someone who really doesn’t know much about working on cars outside of basic maintenance like fluid changes, and replacing manifold/valve cover gaskets. What I said still stands as what, from my perspective as a customer who was turned away by someone who didn’t even take a serious look at my car, was my experience with Collegedale Exxon. And, no, the spacers on my jeep are not quality parts. They’re eBay spacers with a stamp in the aluminum that makes them look like a quality part. They’re the only part on the jeep, however, that isn’t quality, but they are just eBay 1.5” spacers I got for $80 bucks. I honestly don’t even know what’s wrong, why they keep backing out, or what the balance issue is(vibration from the 1 wheel that isn’t having some sort of problem). So, without taking a look, you made the assumption that it was a liability and not profitable. I’ll admit that I bought eBay spacers, but that didn’t stop them from repairing my Jeep, so why would it now. I should add that, if liability were the actual issue, they would’ve stopped the moment I told them, before they even started working on the Jeep, that Firestone broke a stud off of one of the spacers, and it had yet to be replaced at that time. The fact that they still replaced the tires on my Jeep and said nothing about the broken stud or cheep spacers on my Jeep further validates my agitation from this experience.

My car broke down getting off the interstate. I called Collegedale Exxon to see if they had a tow company they recommended to tow to their shop. Drew sent their own wrecker out to pick up my car and it was in his shop less than 30 min later! It’s such a relief to have a mechanic that I trust so close by.

The staff has always been so friendly to me at this family-owned location.
Just as one example of their kindness: I have not been able to reach down to pump air in my tires for many years due to back issues. When I can tell my tires need it, they are always glad to pump air in them after a fillup. They have never requested any extra payment since I'm a customer, but I always tip them. They always keep an eye on the treads as well to keep me posted when I should start to consider new tires.
Support these local folks if you can - especially if you've ever had the pleasure of gassing up at the Circle K down the street from them (check out the many one-star Circle K Google reviews).

Was it a week ago, might have been the european market nearby. Nonetheless, incredible values and family run, in both the water, blood, and petrol.

Drew and the team at Collegedale Exxon were amazing. I took a truck I was going to buy to them to inspect (for free) and they found multiple issues. They saved me $$$$ thousands of dollars in future repairs. I would highly recommend this Exxon for ANY repairs.

Couldn't diagnose problem. Charge $6 for paper towel. "EPA/Shop supplies". Whatever.
