I do not recommend taking your vehicle to these part sellers, took my vehicle in for a simple alignment after having parts replaced. They claimed the vehicle needed ball joints replaced, after having them go ahead and do the alignment I went for a second opinion and ball joints are all in good condition. These people are nothing but part salesman just after your money. I will not take another vehicle to them ever.

At one point, this place was a fantastic garage. I don't know why they customer service level has dropped as much as it has but the last few times I went to get my vehicle looked at, I was flat out insulted over asking about a quote to have a part replaced on my vehicle. I hope things have changed there but I won't be back.

I'm not sure if this is a regular service they do, but they helped me get into my locked car. They were able to get to me faster than the 2 locksmiths I called and was waiting for a callback for information. And, I don't know what the locksmiths would have charged, because neither one called me back, but I'm sure John's Tire was cheaper. Certainly faster.

Great service and so very helpful transmission went out he did his very best to help us out. He went above and beyond any thing any one would have done. We travel and he made sure we where taken care of. Got us back on the road. Just the best service ever. If you need a mechanic he's the one.

My father in law was my mechanic. Sadly, he has passed on, but John takes care of my vehicles just like my father in law would have. He also runs his business like my father in law ran his business. He is honest, fair, and takes pride in his work. I would not hesitate to send any of my friends and family to John for auto repairs.Services: Tires

Highly recommend John for any auto service! Superior workmanship and phenominal customer service. They were so kind to patch my tire during my lunch break from Clinton High School. As a teacher, I get very little time and couldn't make an appointment, but he still worked me in. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes and as I began to get my wallet out he refused to accept any money. He advised me on how to handle the tire should the pressure drop again, and wished me a blessed day. Businesses like John's truly give me hope and restore my faith in humanity. Thanks John! Called to get my brakes changed the guy asked if mine was maken a noise I said yes just started. He tried to say either I get brakes and rotors or he couldn't help me, so he refused service because I wouldn't do both. My rotors are fine already had them looked at .Service: Brakes

PSA: DO NOT GO TO JOHN'S TIRE AND AUTO at 157 S Main St. I just spent $385 on the alternator that they installed. The lower bolt was left off and it bent the bracket that it mounts to. They had to re-work it and weld the damned thing back on. I've STILL got to spend another $650 to replace the power steering pump they destroyed when installing the alternator. JOHN'S TIRE SUCKS. I'm not going to stop saying this...... this arrogant SOB cost me $1000. I'd used them for 3 years and recommended them several times. I'm gonna s*** talk them for the rest of my life. If I was still living in Clinton I'd take them to small claims court. I left out the fact I also had to spend $150 to get the car towed to the repair shop. Total cost will be about $1185 for something THEY broke and refused to fix. F*** JOHN'S TIRE AND AUTO !!!! (can ya tell I'm pissed off about this)???
