The place was nice, but most of my items were clearance and they didn’t know what their own clearance items were, they charged me full price for everything, I came back in to get a refund and pay again, but the girl had absolutely no idea what she was doing and messed up the refund, couldn’t give me a receipt, couldn’t get ahold of the manager, couldn’t even confirm if the refund went through, and so many more issues. It truly made my experience there traumatic, on top of me being pregnant and hormonal, and I wish this didn’t happen because everything in there was very nice and cute. Still trying to get this all fixed and sorted and haven’t heard from anyone. Makes me wonder why the heck the store owner/manager is leaving a clueless employee who doesn’t know how to do a refund or anything else, alone by her lonesome.

Just was in Poppeas for my granddaughter! Was looking for some tiny little boots for her. They had Livie Luca boots for a great deal! Always find great stuff there and they are local!

My first experience shopping here was their consignment sale last fall, where I witnessed a young mom get yelled at in front of a store full of shoppers because she brought her stroller in the store, and apparently "THEY DONT HAVE ROOM FOR STROLLERS!!" She was welcome to leave her stroller outside and shop (I have two small toddlers, and anyone with kids knows that's a ridiculous idea). I couldn't believe how rude they were to this poor mom! If it hadn't been for my mom being willing to keep my kids, I would have brought them.. in a stroller! The racks actually were very close together, and it was extremely crowded in their small store to the point that I wondered if it was safe. My second experience was today, a Wednesday around 1:45 in the afternoon, I left a store in the same shopping center and saw a rack of clothes outside Poppeas, so I thought it was a sidewalk sale and I glanced at the clothes and decided to stop in the store and give them a second chance. I opened the door, and literally had two employees YELL at me that THEY WERE CLOSED!! I'm not sure why they didn't have their door locked or a sign up letting customers know they weren't open, but I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Definitely not giving them a third chance!
