“Dunham's suffers from the same thing as most retail stores - too few employees. It is a great big store full of pretty good brands with competitive prices. The firearms situation is both good and bad. Buying a firearm becomes a field trip. FInd a clerk, sample firearms (while clerk has to remain with you), make decision, go all the way back to the entrance to pay for background check, go back to gun counter, complete background check on tablet (which is good), you and the the clerk walk to you car and he hands you your new gun - a real adventure! The good: sale prices on ammo are usually less than their competition. Pro Tip: sign up for their loyalty program to get notices of sale items. Also just use you phone on their web site to find sales. Sample: get a $2 break on a box of 9mm.”
