I mainly go because they have Charley Biggs chicken which is really good. But the 3 stars is because the heavy set young girl is not friendly at all. My first deli visit I had to wait about 5 mins for her to finish her conversation with co workers to even get waited on. She is pretty rude and of course she is always the one I get. No matter what day or time I go. And since the store has been bought by Food City I believe their prices have went up noticeably.

I only come here for very few items as the meat prices are ridiculous. Pork loin is 1.98 at Walmart vs 3.68-3.98 here.

used to be 5⭐️, now 3. Was better before Foodcity bought it out. Selection was way down, a lot of my normal buys weren't available. I hope it's just because of the transition of the buy out.....

I used to love this store until I just happened to look at my receipt to see that they were still charging an extra 10% on every item. I was told once food city took over we wouldn't be charged extra. I will not return until the extra charges stop. Groceries are already expensive but to have to pay an extra charge on top of what you are already spending is ridiculous!

Even being bought out by food city wasn't enough to make this place more upbeat and they still do the scammy thing where they add 10 or 11% on top of your grocery bill so the low prices they advertise? That's not what you're paying. And no its not the tax, that's still added at the end. It's gross and feels unethical.
