Prescription backorders for certain controlled medications are not uncommon and something I deal with regularly when filling my daughter's prescription. If the primary pharmacy is unable to fill her prescription, her Physician will ask me to call and find someone with it available, and she will then redirect the prescription to that Pharmacy as it isn't able to be transferred from one location to another.CVS, in general, has been excellent to work with at the Ocoee Street location and several Chattanooga CVS locations. Today, however, I mistakenly called the Stuart Road CVS for assistance after the medication didn't show up on two separate deliveries at the other locations. After explaining the entire situation that's been going on since yesterday evening, including the other locations calling me and letting me know they didn't have any come in on their trucks last night or today, I was told, "Unfortunately, we can't tell you that information, we will only talk to a Physician or the Physician can send the prescription in, and we will either have it or not" by Ashley in the Pharmacy. This is after I spoke with another female in the Pharmacy that I did not get the name of. I explained that this is a controlled medication and that the Physician will not send it to multiple locations as that simultaneously puts an active order for the controlled drug at various locations. Ashley stated she understood why the Physician wouldn't, but that is their Pharmacies policy and had to be done before she would verify whether the medication was available. AGAIN, a controlled drug that can't be filled before the day of it being needed, resulting in countless hours waisted with this location even to find out if it's available or if our time is being wasted jumping through the hoops that would be better spent calling outside of CVS.After calling and explaining to the Physician's office the situation and the disregard CVS on Stuart Road had for a patient needing her medication, they took time out of other patients to call and discuss with this location. The Physician's office called me back to express the unpleasant experience and awkwardness portrayed to them as well regarding the medication for her Physician and me, as her parent, to discuss and agree that if we are unable to find the medication somewhere other than this location that we would switch my daughter's prescription and the risks that imposes before ever using this pharmacy again.TRULY DISHEARTENING! As expressed on the phone, I hope Ashley and the other employee that I had such a disgusting interaction with at the Stuart Road CVS and who also caused my daughter's Physician to have to also feel it strange to work with them while taking time away from her other patients never receive the same treatment in return whether filling a prescription or waiting additional time at an appointment due to a Physician having to deal with nonsense and rudeness such as theirs instead of seeing them and/or their child.

My mother has been going here for a while for her prescriptions. Within the last week she has been treated badly by CVS workers. She is in her 70s and has alot of serious health issues. She has been paying 47 dollars and some change for ozempric. Now they tell her no she didn't she couldn't have. My mom has her insurance paperwork saying she paid the 47 and change. The lady at the window raised her voice at her. Then the next morning she called the pharmacy back. She talked to a pharmacist trying to see why she was going to have to pay like 300 for it now. The pharmacist on the phone just told her she was in the donut hole with insurance. Mom didn't understand what that means so the pharmacist told her she didn't have time for her right now. So mom transfered over to Walgreens. You dont know what these elderly people are going through. What they have found out that day medically some are ready to give up because medical issues and ready to just go. Just 1 issue like this could cause them to feel like a burden to everyone and commit suicide. I am so pissed right now. My mom should be treated with respect. If elderly are not in a good mood sometimes, so what, they have lived a long life and they are tired. In pain and frustrated. They feel like they aren't needed and a burden learn to treat them with respect. 5 minutes of your makes a world of a difference in there day. I'm so upset about this.

Pharmacist "term is loosely used" named BJ refuses to fill prescriptions and takes it upon himself to practice doctor of medicine and to tell a patient what medications are appropriate for them and not appropriate for them. He called my wife's doctor and straight out lied to him costing her Rxs that it took months and multiple sleep studies to get. This act of cowardice came close to ending with her in the hospital. He always says, "you use to many pharmacies." Absolute lie. We only use CVS because our insurance requires it. There has been a few times (very few) we had to use another pharmacy because CVS could not get the medication. He said he did not care and that he has the final say.

If I could give less of rating I would. If a patients RX is being called in from a HOSPICE office… you would think that they would call that office immediately if they didn’t have the medication; especially when it’s for pain. Instead, they never said anything and never provided notice to the patient or their family either to determine if they needed it or could wait. Instead, hours of waiting went by and we had to call and then show up to find out it was out of stock and wouldn’t be available for four more days….This was only one of MANY poorly handled situations; HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHOOSING A PRIVATE PHARMACY or even just Publix or the Walgreens on 25th. All have 100x the professionalism and empathy than this CVS does.

This place is not even had an AED or defibrillator. I hope no one needs CPR because it would be a shame to lose a life because your not prepared.

I called to get a pickup was told they closed in 30 mins. I got there 5 mins before closing and they refused to give me my prescription. Cvs is the absolute worst. It does not matter how bad you need something or how serious something is they will not help you. You can never get through to customer service. My family and I will never use cvs again.

Still one of the best CVS in town but lord have mercy! They will not have customers circle around if scrips are not ready and they will NOT use lane 2… it has a a sign blocking it,

These people have no clue what they are doing. I am so upset. My mother's prescriptions were called in on Friday, but they never got them. Her doctor's office called them in again today, and bam they have them. My mother has been 5 days without her medication.

The meds I needed for my son were not in stock at another location so I called to see if it was in stock here. The person who answered the phone told me that it was not a common dose and I should have his doctor change the prescription. Ummm, no. Then I was told that I should have given them more notice. I told her that the prescription had been sent in over a month ago but because of mix-ups with our old location closing the last prescription had been filled late so the new prescription expired before the old prescription ran out. She cut me off before I finished my sentence with a sarcastic "Bye" and HUNG UP.It wasn't like I called to complain but it would have been fine to say it wasn't in stock and it was being ordered instead of trying to shift the blame on the doctor or me because they failed to stock something they had an order for.Hanging up was beyond rude.I am done with CVS.

Welcoming atmosphere. Soft instrumental music is so pleasant and makes for a calming shopping experience. More importantly, friendly staff. Always clean and stocked . Stay GREAT!!! ? ✌️ ?

Rude, Rude, Rude & very curt when trying to call for assistance (Jennifer). Also spoke to me as if I were some idiot who apparently didn't know how to use an app. However, she's the one who didn't know that certain prescriptions on hold, are NOT LISTED. But, what she was basically saying...instead of bothering them, get on my app to find out what's what!! Oh yes, she did! I've been using this play for several yrs. The past 2 yrs has been an ordeal (pharmacy wise)! Ridiculous! I'm changing soon! At this point I wound NOT give even a 1 star...but the don't have a negative/zero star!

I got what I needed and then some. They had several options to choose from at different price points. There were also some pretty good store deals or promotions going on as well. In my opinion CVS has a rewards program that is actually worth signing up for if you haven't already.

These people never answer the phone when I need a simple prescription refill and on top of that, they literally never have my prescription ready when I need it. I always have to go through an hour long ordeal just to get what I need from them. The lady that just answered the phone was completely disrespectful and got an attitude with me after I’m the one who has had to call her three times just to get her to do her job. Switching pharmacies immediately. I’m so tired of the way they handle business
