We have bought a few pieces of furniture here over the last few months. Originally I would have rated 5 stars. Went in to look at furniture to make another purchase. The furniture tags have multiple prices on them for the same piece of furniture. Which I pointed out. Manager agreed there were multiple price tags with different amounts for the same piece of furniture. They do not honor those prices. I kindly suggested that maybe for future shoppers, they take down the lower price tags since they will not honor the prices. I was told that the prices fluctuate so often that it isn’t possible for them to switch out the tags for sales/price changes, and they must keep all the different prices on the furniture on the floor. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

The Cleveland Tn store is under NEW!!!! Ownership. The new mgr Gary has been in customer service business for years. If you ever had an issue PLEASE give them another chance. I think you will be a customer for life.

We have purchased many items from the Badcock store in Cleveland Tennessee and I must say the quality of there merchandise has gone down hill. Our recent purchase was a king size bedframe and end tables. The tables are great but the cross members for the bed that help support the mattress snapped because they were tac welded. This occurred several days after it was set up by their delivery people.When we tried to call the store it would ring and then go to some vm thing. When we finally got ahold of someone it was about 7 days after delivery and we were told we would have to claim it on our insurance that we purchased. The problem was the repair person would of brought the same legs that were tac welded. The employee that was helping us informed me they tried to tell me the furniture wasn't the best when we were being walked around the store, the problem with that is we walked in and showed it to this employee off their website and was never walked around the store.This employee took all my information on what had happened and I even took pictures and sent them to this employee. 1 week later we were called back and told the owner of the store said we could upgrade the supports but we had to buy them for an additional 150.00, now keep in mind this furniture was less then 2 1/2 weeks old.They don't care about the customer only making that money. So do to this and the quality of the furniture I recommend buying elsewhere.

MARTHA LEE IS FANTASTIC!! My fiancé and I went to Badcock in Cleveland, TN this past Sunday just browsing for a couch. Immediately when walking into the store, it feels like home! A beautifully hand decorated A-Frame sign welcoming you sits right up front! The furniture is expertly displayed and decorated. We spoke with a wonderful woman named Martha lee who walked us around the floor giving excellent recommendations and being very personable even trading stories about our cats as we walked around. She made us feel like family! We eventually decided we wanted to investigate a few other places before making our final decision. We went to mattress expo a couple stores down (which made me feel nauseous upon entering, very dingy and dark) and Scotts furniture just down the road (larger selection of recliners but none felt as comfortable or high quality). We were also followed a good bit at the other stores which made me feel pressured and I just wanted to leave. We then returned the next day to Badcock. Martha lee was there when we needed including finding us a measuring tape when we were unsure if the furniture would fit, but she didn't make us feel pressured or like she was hovering, it was just right! She also had exceptional knowledge of the product. She informed us that she had witnessed a repairman replace parts from a damaged floor unit and recommended based off of the difficulty of what she witnessed that we get the protection plan. She gave us a brief overview while we were still perusing on the floor and then when we decided to continue with the purchase, she drew up a quote for the whole reclining sectional (which is beautiful btw), highlighted each line and its corresponding protection plan and then also gave us a little booklet further explaining what is covered in each category (which she also wrote notes on and circled). She also explained that if we do not have to use the coverage within the 3 years, we will get it back in store credit! I forgot my ID at home and she was very patient with me when I had to leave and come back another day to process my credit approval which she also handled swiftly and efficiently. When my fiancé and I eventually decide to upgrade our bedroom suite, I feel I can confidently say we will be returning to Badcock & more on 25th street in Cleveland, TN. And we will be asking for Martha lee!

Good selection and none of the employees stalked me like most furniture stores. I walked the whole store and not once did anyone ask me if I needed help. It was nice since I was just there to compare prices.

I fully paid for an accent table 3 months ago and had it set to where it would be delivered to my home. I decided to stop by the store (Today 05/14/2022) for an update on my order. The guy at the service counter was immediately rude. He didn’t offer an apology for the long wait and the lack of communication on their end. He talked to me in a very unprofessional tone and acted as if I was an inconvenience for him. The other only sales associate (MarthLee) that was there was very apologetic and nice..a little over nice to make up for how rude he was being. To top it off the table was at the store. He literally dollied the table to the front doors and walked away. He didn’t asked if I needed help or even offer to dolly it to my car that was parked right in front store…he didn’t utter a word.

Walter was very helpful and thorough in aiding me in my exchange and purchase. I feel like he went above and beyond. I live in Dalton and normally purchase from the store there, but haven’t had as pleasant of experiences as I have in the Cleveland store. I will be making the longer drive to visit for future needs!!
