I have used this location several times, but not no more. I mailed a letter with important documents dropped in outside box it never made it to its destination I reported it no response just recently feb 5th mailed a check about 5:45pm dropped in box on inside recipients never received. I see why this location has a 2.9 reviewWorst service ever.

I went into the post office today an the older lady with the dreads was rude an snobby the first time I went in there to do a return on a package she said you have to go print the form out the Library is up the street so I went an did that an came back an she picking again saying oh you need tape now so i definitely let the Detroit come out an because she disrespected me I didn’t have no problem giving back the nasty energy I received one thing for certain it takes respect to get respect an I don’t work for the post office so if your self esteem level that low by a pretty female coming in the post office then you shouldn’t be working in that field around people because if my skin was different she wouldn’t have been rude to me like that your such a old hag an I said what i said .

If I could give zero stars I would. Charlean Cathey is the most disrespectful person I’ve ever spoken to in my life. USPS fraudulently checked in my package as I picked it up at 7:00pm in early December. I waited as the holiday season can get backed up. After new years after zero response I called customer service to file a ticket to have the package located. I requested to be contacted by email. Charlean called me this morning, I answered the phone by confirming whom I was and asked how she was doing. She didn’t respond and immediately started telling me defensively and sounded as if she was in a panic and said “yeah we don’t have your package” and not letting me even speak. Was basically told they are showing they put my package in my mailbox on Dec 9th, after being fraudulently “picked up” and checked in on Dec 8th (even though no USPS is open at 7 pm). Then continued to tell me 8-10 times “yeah, well you didn’t get insurance”. And only expressed concern for herself after I told her there are ring cameras and nothing has been dropped off on the porch or the mailbox or at the incorrect location of perhaps a neighbor, And that I would be contacting customer service back. She then became upset by this and tried to lie to me and tell me I wouldn’t be able to speak to ANYONE else other than someone at their location and literally used the words “OH WELL”. She was trying to deter me from contacting customer service. This is not the only missing package or even letter for several weeks now.She started the call aggressive and defensive and did not care in any way that this is their mistake and treating me as a nuisance for even looking into my missing packages and other mail. It was made very clear that it wasn’t their problem, but mine.Her “resolution” was to contact the carrier who has shown it picked up on Dec 8th.Im now awaiting response from consumer affairs as I escalated the issue after she tried to lie about who I can contact or not. “Oh Well” I guess.UPDATE AS OF 01/17/24:My package showed up today on my doorstep after I filed a complaint with consumer affairs. It WAS fraudulently checked in by this post office not once but twice as “picked up” and then “delivered” on December 8th and 9th 2023 after I reported there was in fact a camera and the interaction with these extremely unprofessional and rude people.

package been stuck in a loop here for a month with no one flagging for a loop amd usps not accepting an inquiry. pathetic usps location with incompetent workers who cant notice a package in a loop

Stopped by this post office location at 2:35pm on a Friday afternoon to mail a packet of documents to my attorney. Door was locked, with several customers standing outside the locked doors wondering why the doors were locked. Workers visible inside were ignoring the fact that there were people gathering outside the doors. Finally a gentleman inside called out letting everyone know they're "closed for lunch". How about a "Closed for lunch" sign at the very least, instead of acting like the people outside are being rude for expecting the post office to be open at 2:35pm on a weekday?

Just entered at 4pm, zero customers. The employee greeted me immediately and was just kind and pleasant. I’m imagining the experience I’d likely receive at the Hilldale branch right now ??

A waste of time to try to contact anyone. Very poor management, tried to use the calendar to schedule an appt for a passport. Doesn't work. Tried calling several times, employees disconnect the call by picking up and hanging up. I've had that problem with them several times. Useless staff.
