Great facility! The teachers are warm, caring, and hard working. My favorite little dude is currently in attendance, and he absolutely loves it. They have done an outstanding job in creating a safe and fun environment while also providing and building a vital developmental and academic foundation. If you are in the market for an exceptional childcare/preschool destination, you can't go wrong with The Youth Academy.

I’ve worked there a while and highly recommend. I wake up every morning and love my job ! My little boy loves coming to school and beats me getting ready in the mornings to get there . I’m so grateful for the youth academy and how much my child has learned . He has gained so much from this place and has so got the social skills that was much needed ! The teachers are all trained properly to handle any situation that comes their way and it shows !Thank you youth academyHere’s to many more years ! ❤️

I have worked at The Youth Academy for a little over a year. I have loved the teachers I have worked with. I have loved the relationships I have with the children and families in my care each day! My nephews are at one of our locations and they love it! They have great teachers and I see them learning and growing more each day!

What can I say that hasn’t been said about this place. While people have quit and are bitter l, my son has grown intelligently here. The teachers truly love their students, the facility is clean and it’s shocking when you walk in how clean and professional it is. My son has learned so much at a young age and despite the negative reviews from people, this is a world class facility The service dog (Rudy) that walks around makes the kids laugh and smile. The fact my kiddo can make decisions and be happy at the same time is indispensable. Don’t be fooled by former employees who are bitter. You will be impressed with the teachers, facilities, and what they do for your kids. Signed a happy parent.

My children and I have been here for almost 3 years now. My oldest started walking here, my youngest was surrounded with LOVE from the staff. I love the children I teach. Nothing makes my heart glow more than watching them grow and repeat back certain things you have taught them.

My son started at 6 weeks and the teachers have been AMAZING! He’s 4 now and they have literally help me raise him. The management are always helpful and are there if I ever need anything. I appreciate the family feel every time I walk through the door.

I quit this job on the spot about 2 months ago after having a couple run ins with one of the directors. They treat children like cattle, and keep as many as possible in a room at once as they can. I was called to the office of one director where her and the owner were waiting to tell me that I was wrong for telling a parent that her child had a difficult day. Was told specifically by them that “You must lie, do not say anything besides they had a GREAT day” this was said to me in a very patronizing way, like I was a 3 year old. There is no privacy for kids when going to the bathroom, no actual lessons (outside of coloring sheets 4 times a day) and etc. My final straw was my child claiming to be hit by a very new teacher. Some very nice teachers, but management is HORRIBLE and your children will be herded and treated as cattle.

I started working here in March of 2020 and it has been one of the best experiences I have had working with children. As a co-director and teacher I love watching my kids grown and learn everyday. The youth academy has also helped me grown as a teacher in learning new ways to help the children better understand and learn new things.

If you can afford it, sign your kid up for the pre k program. The regular daycare is basically just babysitting, no helpful lessons at all. Had an issue where the teacher was calling another child a liar and my kid heard them. Not sure what was done about it. Also, very deceptive with pricing. Make sure you give a months notice even if your child is graduating or you will be paying after graduation even once your kid stops attending. The accounting person is extremely rude and accuses parents of lying. They barely let the kids go outside even if the weather is nice. The turn over is insane. My daughter had three teachers in less than a year. I'd only send another child here as a last resort. Gave two stars instead of one because there are some nice teachers but it's the luck of the draw.

Do not send your children here! I worked her for a short period of time and quit because of the way my son was treated they kept putting the wrong brand of diapers on my son he has very sensitive skin and will break out if he is not put in the diapers that I provided for him I told the front desk to make this known to his teachers who ever that could have been because he would get moved around from room to room. They want the staff to lie to the parents about their child’s behavior they fill out the all about my day sheet first thing In the morning so your kid’s information on that paper isn’t even correct and they offer a discount if you leave a good review for them.

Loved both Locations! Excellent Childcare! Enrolled all three of our children in 2020 at Sango location after the military moved us to town. Both my older two attended both Pre-K and the Private Kindergarten program. When my oldest began 1st grade it was a simple request that was honored immediately to move all three to the Clarksville location for ease of transportation. The private Kindergarten Program run by Ms.Fowler is wonderful as are the kindergarten teachers! Both our sons learned so much in the small classroom size and were head and shoulders above their classes when they started 1st grade. Our youngest has attended the infant room to the three year old room. She has always loved her care givers and actively runs to her classroom each day to hug her teachers. Even difficult morning days were made so much easier by the kind and caring room teachers. The summer camp program for school age children is especially amazing. Swimming in the on-site pool every day. Weekly offsite field trips and plenty of on-site special activities made going for my sons a delight. The extra activities offered were wonderful for all my children. All three took swimming lessons on-site. And my middle child did soccer shots and my youngest did the dance lessons.I highly recommend either location to anyone moving into the Clarksville area, ESPECIALLY military families.

My personal experience with this childcare is that they have no idea how to redirect children, they just say they do. I had to tell a director how to calm and redirect a child with ADHD when Google could give the answer. They seemed to have issues with keeping staff and from my experience the staff were treated not to labor board standards. The owner literally told me she has a volitile personality. She asked me if I knew about one of the directors medical condition and told me about it before I could answer, violating the HIPPA act. I recorded the conversation after seeing so much from old employees and parents about this place. I called CPS after walking into my grandchild being placed on display in front of the rest of the class for punishment. I called CPS and the owner said she was kicking my children out because I called CPS. "Her words, recorded". Then when I asked for all the kids records, they withheld several incident reports. They tested my granddaughter for Pre-schoool and Kindergarten and I requested those records. They never responded or gave them to me. I'll be contacting the board of education and the state along with filing another complaint with the licencing dept.. Because the owner runs an LLC she thinks she doesn't have to follow and code of ethics. Every time I encountered the owner she just told me how cute I was. Inappropriate conduct in my opinion, it was strange. I could write a book about my experience. I know now, it's not about the bling they offer, it's about how they care for children. I will never look to another Youth Academy for proper, intelligent care for children. I found it to be an uneducated yell house.

My personal experience in the beginning with this establishment was ok. It went down hill when I noticed a change in teachers every week and getting updates on DCS visits due to workers! We started at the Youth Academy in 2021. I placed a notice to remove my son from the facility (2 week notice is what was required). I did not send him the last three days because I could not trust what was going on. I received a statement stated that we owed payment. I tried to contact RACHEL the bookkeeping person (who obviously is the only one that handles the books) and I tried to contact owner Hope via email. They avoid your emails and calls. They are trying to charge me 10.00 every month since 2021 for late fee and no longer in contract with this establishment! Not to mention I was under the healthcare voucher during COVID. This was the SECOND time billing was incorrect on them! BEWARE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS FACILITY !

I called this place, and I asked if they offered before and after school care, which they did. I asked if there was a spot open. I was told I had to come in and fill out a packet before I could be told if a spot was available. I asked the prices for before and after care and was told that they did not give out their prices over the phone. I found this strange because I called four other centers in the same area and got the information with no problem over the phone. I’d had no prior experience with the place, so it must be that the employees there do not want new business. They must be overwhelmed and unhappy. Glad to say I found a place more receptive to answering simple questions without me having to drive over there to get the information. Thank you to the person that answered the phone because you let me know to steer clear of The Youth Academy.
