I am very disappointed with the service and lack of interest we were shown this evening. Just had an amazing experience with Matthew over the phone and my wife spoke with a wonderful young lady who both explained some great deals that were taking place. We hurried to the store when we were met by an older African American woman who very plainly discouraged us from getting a new service setup because we were cutting it close to their closing time.
We gathered all the required information for her before heading up there that she would need, but she didn't allow us to explain any of that to her. "We don't set up new phone service this late at night" was her greeting.
When we floated Verizon she started to do her job and ask additional questions, but it was too late. If we decide to return to bundle additional services[we are existing customers] we will not be doing any business with her!
Verizon customer service is worth much more than the deals Spectrum offers because they will value my business during every second of their business hours!

The employees are nice, but I always feel like I've been scammed when I go in there. For example I had cable TV and phone. I canceled the TV before the deadline and returned my equipment and they still charged me for another month, before dropping me to just phone.

Just went back was sent by customer service on phone to get Sim card got run around. Came back with husband like told still would not get it had new story of why not then when upset not using bad words told get out or calling cops. Really the other reason upset ? would not let us speak cut us off when talking. Should be NO stars

The service at the store is extremely slow! I'm here to swap out equipment and that takes an hour? 1st they can't get a tech to me for 2 days, now I have to sit in this store and look at disgruntled employees for an hour! FIX IT Spectrum!

Three Spectrum solicitors came into my neighborhood today and when asked to leave, they said they have every right to come here. They said they have names & addresses of former customers & were just asking why the customers had canceled Spectrum. Problem is that we have never been Spectrum customers.
So were they just scoping out the neighborhood? Suspicious a behavior at best.

They don't know how to close up accounts they can set them up but the specialists they don't even know how to close your account out and 90% of time you don't even get American you get some person from another country I don't like talking to people from other countries because they don't understand Americans I need a person who speaks English perfectly and knows how to do their damn jobs and closing our accounts I tell you what I'm taking them to court for my money's missing after I turn the equipment in If they take any more money out of my account I'm suing

Never again answer your door for the 3rd party sales people they have. Told they have a great promotion running and provide you with prices and promises that are not valid. Then you receive notice of your first bill before anything is activated in your home. Call customer support and they speak to you as though you are lying about the prices for services. Then receive your second bill after being told the first one will be taken care of, however it is doubled. Call in to cancel the service and speak with someone in retention. They are great and make you believe it is fixed and credit given back. Guess what, it wasn't. So call back in, deal with two of the rudest billing representatives. Finally get over to cancellation, on the phone another 45 minutes to try to sell me on their mobile plans. Not interested. Tries to give us credit again to lower the bill because again it is not what we were told. Guess what???? Cancel the service. Will never go back to Spectrum, will never recommend Spectrum. Poor customer service in their billing department. They are the front line when a customer calls in to discuss their bill and you are spoken to with such distasteful animosity. Well CDE will continue to be my internet service provider. Nothing changes, always courteous when we have a question or issue. If I could put 0 stars on here I would.

UPDATE: today I found out after canceling my internet with spectrum that I was scammed and there is NO cancelation fee to cancel internet. It was a fake person who used my fake voice with spectrum and stole my card information. If you are told to pay a cancelation fee you are being scammed and need to hang up and report them. Now I have to deal with the repercussions of this today and file a police report. so be careful!!
Original review:used their internet for almost 2 years. Spotty internet with lots of outages but I didn't mind because it was so cheap. Well not this year! Their cheapest internet plan is $90!!!! For basic not fast internet! Called to cancel today and they say there is a fee of $100 just to cancel! I've never heard of that because this sint a contract and they count give me a reason just rudely yelled at me to pay it or they won't cancel. Rude as hell phone workers. Not to mention 2 months ago they LIED TO ME. assuring me when I wanted to switch internet companies no to stay with them and they would keep my starting price cheap. Lies!!! it when up 50$ this month. I'm done with them. Ugly company with no morals. And poor service to begin with.

This place is the worst and their people make up 98% of the problems here. The other 2% is their inability to correct the mistakes their employees make. I got their imternet service when I moved to clarksville and had 0 problems with it. I didn't have any problems until I decided to get spectrum mobile and buy a phone. It's been nothing but problem after problem and spectrum royally screwed me all starting with one of the employees at this store making one simple mistake and she can try to avoid accountability all she wants but there's no way around that she has to have selected the wrong color phone. I'm paying over 1000 for a phone so I want the phone I want, the color I want. I go in the store, tell them what phone, color, get set up for a trade in with my old phone, pay and leave. Had they have had the color I wanted, I would have walked away with a phone in my hand. I wanted cream, they only had purple and black. I didn't notice until I checked my email at 11pm that the lady at the store did not order the cream, she ordered the black one, I called spectrum to try and get them to change the color they said they couldn't do it because the order was about to ship meaning I was going to have to wait for the tracking number and call spectrum again and get them to RETURN TO SENDER, the money had not been taken out of my account yet but it must have gotten taken out as soon as this phone call was happening because I was talked into ordering another phone. The agent didn't tell me how much it was just waived my activation fee but somehow charged me $192 and im no genuis but if i was an agent working for spectrum I would have been questioning why the first order was 162.33 but he didnt do that
and thought he was really doing something for me by waiving that fee as well as signing me up for 3 months cable when I don't even watch TV. OVER $400 TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT, messed me up completely with my bills, I had to call the next day to cancel the cable, went down to the store again, lady would not take accountability ,"I orderd the cream" apparently not. So im being told nothing but im going to have to cancel both phones after waiting for both tracking numbers, by the way this happened last Monday, and I still do not have my money back for the $162.33 yet. I called spectrum got the first phone canceled and sent back, they won't refund you until it's back and restocked, I spoke to someone to ask to be refunded the difference for the second phone since none of this was my fault., he didn't refund it but credited it to my mobile account as if it wasn't mine to start with and that doesn't help me a bit since mobile and internet are separate. I asked if I could still do the trade in for the second phone, they said yes, note I asked if I could just get all the same benefits, free line for a year, difference, and trade in promotion since it was the right color with the second since the whole point of doing this was to go ahead and switch services that way I wouldn't pay 60 for the current service I had. Well its now a whole week later and they can't give me the trade in promotion so I'm stuck paying for the full amount. I eventually got the 29.99 actually refunded back to my bank but this was way too much for something to happen and this company can't do anything to help their paying customer and someone who has been loyal with the internet since I've had it for almost a year. Horrible customer service, horrible experience, and quickly went from 5 stars to 1 and 0 if i could even give them that.
I'm writing this as proof that I have been trying for the past 2 months to get my service disconnected since a bunch of crooks work at spectrum and think it's okay to just say the script they are trained to say so the services don't get disconnected and instead you get billed what you don't really owe since these representatives are trained to frustrate you, make you lose your temper and hang up b

Nearly got rear ended because their employee decided to speed down Ted Crozier today. Obviously they aren't concerned about who they hire if they have this sort of filth driving their company cars around. They would have had to payyy me if they hit my new truck.
