If you're plugging this into your GPS, ensure you put for the nature center, or it will take you to the frisbee golf side - which is great if you're parents are taking you there, or you're a 40 year old with 28 cats. The playground and trails are great and the nature center looks amazing. We look forward to returning when it is open.

Fun playground for my son and love that there are about 5 baby swings! Also the play ground is on a soft cushy turf which is really nice!

what a beautiful, clean and well maintained park....everyone should be extremely proud of this facility and hard work of the up-keep... my daughter and family are recent residents to the Clarksville area and go often to the park...my first visit was yesterday while on my trip to see them... I will definitely make it a habit to visit the park often when I am in Clarksville....it is like paradise!!

A hidden gem, Rotary Park is a great place to bring your kids to burn off that excess energy. The revamped play area has a recycled tire "carpet" as well as plenty of different play areas to keep your child entertained for a long time. I absolutely love the concept of the double swings, which is perfect for my twins. The only downside to this playground is that it isn't completely enclosed, which makes it a little too easy for a child to get away from a parent.

This is my very favorite place to hike in Clarksville. It is just delicious in every way - the trails, the stream, the fields, the photo opportunities. You will not be bored and there so many ways to hike this place. It's completely up to you if you want more uphill hiking or leisurely strolling by a stream. There is also an opportunity to rock-skip and play in the stream, but be careful as it can get slick along the many rocks. If you are into disc golf, there is a whole course set up here that will provide you with fun and tons of exercise. The trails for mountain biking look like lots of fun. I don't personally have the skills to tackle them, but if you do go for it - just look out for lots of roots in the trail. As for wildlife, you got your deer, your rabbits, your birds, your squirrels, your possums, your wolf spiders and your armadillos...yes, armadillos! (do not try and approach them as they carry leprosy). The new nature center is lovely and welcoming, there are picnic tables scattered throughout the park, a play area for the kiddos that is unique and shaded, and the bathrooms are kept clean and well-stocked. Just a wonderful, fun place to explore and be out in nature with your family or by yourself. Be sure to bring a camera!

First time at this park today, Presidents' Day! It was a sunny and warm winter day that was perfect for it. They still have parts of the park closed off as I had read in other reviews. At the top is a kids' playground with a baby/toddler slide within it towards the back corner. My little guy wanted to play on the big kid's set. It has several slides, a bridge, and several types of ladders or ways to climb up it. Of course, my little one wanted to go to the very top (above 6 feet high) of the tallest slide. We didn't leave until he had his way an hour later. It was worth it. The joy on his face was worth the drive to this park which is at the opposite end of town for us. There were many kids there since it is a holiday. No school. Plus, it was nice and sunny - gorgeous after several days of rain (and a cold front). They have bathrooms nearby. We didn't use them, but nice to have it available. Next time, I'll have to try one of the trails. The creeks look pretty and the paths seemed "safe". I don't know if my baby stroller would make it, but I will have to try it out. If you have never been to this park, it is great for both young and old "kids". I knew about the hiking trails, but hadn't been yet. No dedicated bicycle trails that I saw, but there were a few riding their bicycles in the grass area (see photo) where I let my little guy run around freely. So glad I went to check out the playground since I heard another park (closer to the river) was flooded. Cannot wait for the rest of Rotary park to open up after all the renovations and/or upgrades... in the not foreseeable future.

This is a great place to take morning walks and stay within city limits. The drive is nothing and you get the calming sounds of the creek. It also feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but there are houses close enough if you need to call out for help. There are so many paths, you don't need to take the same stroll twice. Oh, there are markers if you're directionally challenged (like me). Great place to disconnect from the 5G and get grounded!
