My wife and I recently moved from Torrance, California where the first Gracie Jiu Jitsu school opened in the United States. I watched my first Jiu Jitsu class in 2001, both Rorion and Helio Gracie were instructing the class. I ended up starting Jiu Jitsu with the Gracie’s cousins, the Machado Brothers who also had a school in Torrance. I received my Blue Belt from Rigan and my Purple Belt from Roger Machado. I mentioned all that just to compliment Renzo Gracie Clarksville.My last 5 years training were at Gracie University with Ryron and Rener Gracie, the grandkids of Helio Gracie, so I was really worried about where I could train once I moved to Clarksville. My Realtor recommended Renzo Gracie Clarksville. I came and watched Professor James Hoskins teach a class of white belts. I was so impressed that I told my wife that we should sign up here. In less than a month, I have already learned a lot even though I have been training Jiu Jitsu for over 20 years. What I always enjoy the most about learning Jiu Jitsu is the friendships I make. I already feel at home here at Renzo Gracie Clarksville. This has also helped me deal with the stress of moving/missing my family and friends. Thank you ??

Renzo Gracie Clarksville is the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Middle Tennessee area. I have trained at many different gyms and have yet to find a gym that comes close to the experience you get at RGC. The quality of instruction is unmatched. I genuinely believe Professor Andrew could teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to anyone. When you sign up at RGC, you gain a big family of lifelong friends.

I started yesterday with my first of three free lessons. I was very nervous, but when it started, I felt very comfortable. Will is awesome and took his time to teach me and answered my thousands of questions without judgement or frustration. I will become a member next week for sure. I encourage you to take that next step to come in!!

Very excepting to everyone and not just the coaches help even the students will help correct you I have been going for almost 3 years if your looking for a place to do a marital art this is the best place

Came into town visiting and stopped in for a few training sessions. Absolutely amazing staff, coaches, and very welcoming atmosphere. Big shout-out to Coach Zee and his no gi training sessions, world class instruction.

If you're hesitant about joining a gym for fear of being left out, or looking silly as a beginner, rest assured that this gym is NOT *that kind* of place. Everyone here WILL go above and beyond to make you feel so included after just your first class. From the friendly front desk staff, to the help from other students and definitely the knowledgeable instructors. Professor James & Professor Andrew are both so engaging and helpful during every class. They answer any and all questions and break things down patiently. Their knowledge and dedication to their craft is very apparent!

Myself and both of my children started training here and we all love it. The atmosphere is awesome and we felt at home immediately. Coach James, Coach Zee, Coach Andrew, Coach JJ are all outstanding at instructing. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to start their martial arts journey or just to get in shape and build some self confidence. This place is top notch ?

It's my son's second time. I love it. The teachers work with him. I think they know he is new, plus he is little for his age. A small twin. The other kids have been kind and supportive and helped show him moves. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
