READ THIS BEFORE SCHEDULING!
My wife is 38 weeks pregnant today and she wanted the interior of our van detailed. Richard delivered that, doing a (sorta)good job. But Richard, brother, you gotta work on your customer service skills!
We scheduled a cleaning for this morning at 9am (Aug 30, 2024). Richard confirmed with us the night before. We pulled up right at 9am to drop off the van but no one came out. We texted, called, and knocked on the door many times (also rang the door bell but I don't think it works) with no answer. This should have been our first red flag and I wish we would have jumped ship at this point. After waiting a long time we decided to leave out van there without the keys, unlocked with a note to call us. He called us at 10am explaining that he just woke up. He had a headache that finally went away. No apology. I gently explained that such a delay had been inconvenient for us and offered to give him a chance to make it right. This befuddled him saying, "You want me to charge you less or something just because I'm getting started a little late?" (An hour late for an appointment is no small thing, bro.) He launched into an explanation that "It's not like I'm gonna go above and beyond. Cleaning your car is already going above and beyond. Walmart doesn't change their prices for you." (Yes, he actually said that! We wrote it down word for word right then.) It was my turn to be befuddled.
No sure why, but we let him clean our van. It was a really hot day, but our van wasn't very dirty, truly. I know jobs like this can take longer than expected, so no beef there, but just know, it did take 50% longer than he said it would. (Not a big deal, just managing expectations.) We picked up the car and it looked okay. He couldn't get some stains out from the TN red clay but that's understandable. I opened the large floor storage compartment and noticed he hadn't cleaned that out. He quickly offered to vacuum it and did so while I waited. He later explained that he only cleans what he can see and doesn't open up compartments so as to "not get in other people's business." That's fine, it just says something about the degree of detailed work he does. We went to settle up and he charged me $40 more than the quoted price of $225 for a minivan. I asked what the upcharge was for and he stumbled through an answer, citing the difficult stains (which he didn't get out) and a melted crayon in a cupholder. He also alluded to the fact that it took more time because it was hot (which it wouldn't have been quite so hot if he had started an hour earlier...). I countered at $245 and he wasn't having any of it. I didn't want to make it a big deal so I went ahead and paid him the full amount right then. Before I left, I gently offered some advice since I have 7 years of experience in customer service, suggesting that he do his best to communicate with customers when he can't meet their expectations. He quickly countered that he DID meet expectations. "I cleaned the van! That was the expectation!" (That wasn't the point, brother...) He was also very defensive about why he couldn't notify us, saying that he went to bed at 8pm because of his headache and didn't wake up until 10am. I kindly suggested he set an alarm, which he said he slept through. He admitted that his daughter did wake him up at 7am because she had to get to school but otherwise there was no way to communicate with us regarding the headache because he was asleep. "You wouldn't want me to clean your car with a headache, would you? I had to sleep until it went away." So I closed by saying, "Then when these unfortunate things happen, own it! Apologize for it. Try to make up for it. That way you don't lose customers." He responded by saying that 1 hour late isn't a big deal and there was nothing to make right. *sigh. SMH. We parted ways.

I got the interior, exterior, and engine bay detailed for my husband as a surprise! He was sooo happy about the detail Prestige Auto put into his truck! It looks sparkling new AND pet hair free. Our dog has the tiniest hairs which were hard for us to clean out ourselves. Prestige Auto also sent update photos so I could track the progress. Scheduling was fast and easy. We appreciate the love and attention to detail and will be coming back!

Richard took a very bad time for me and turned it into something amazing. I had a mishap with vomit in my car. I turned to Prestige Auto Care desperate for help. Richard replied to me in a timely manner, was up front on all pricing and what he could do to help me. He took my car in the same day. I have never seen my car so clean and shiny! This is the best detail I have ever seen. If you're looking for high quality work done by a highly professional individual, go with Prestige. He will not disappoint!

DO NOT USE HIM. Got interior service over the weekend. we agreed upon 160 and he said once I state you a price I will not charge you anymore. that is completely false. He charge an additional $200 on the end for pet hair which he saw from the very beginning. He does not have the correct tools to remove pet hair. He was using tweezers, which why it took him almost 8 hours. The spray he used stained my plastic.

He took care of my truck made it look new again, I normally keep it clean but had a good amount of dog hair under the seats and a new puppy had thrown up in the front seat. When I got my truck back from him it looked like it came out of the showroom. Glad I was able to support a local business owner and get exactly what I wanted in return
