“Drove my older truck in for an oil change, I don’t it much but thought it needed oil change . I pulled right in and Herb brought me dipstick and said it looked like new, that I didn’t need a change. Also checks all fluids and didn’t charge me a dime. I tried to give him a tip and he said no thank you sir, it’s all good. Such a refreshing experience at this Valvoline, y’all were great. Been there before couple times and they are the best. Wendi and Tony”
“BLUF: Friendly staff, knowledgeable and honest mechanics, clean waiting area.
My vehicle was having some serious shaking. I brought it to this location and they identified the issue as being unevenly worn tires with some dry rot, as well as identifying some issues with the wheels that were not likely the cause. The cost for all the recommended repairs/replacements was more than we could swing at the time.
When I asked to speak with the mechanic to find out what was a "safety need" vs a "repair/replace soon" they essentially said I could leave their building with nothing done and recommended a used tire place, Mike's Tire Service. Think about that... A mechanic told me not to attend money there. No fear mongering. No pressure.
I paid for the diagnostic, went to the recommended tire place, test drove on the highway, and now I'm recommending Gateway for the honesty and kindness.”
“This place was amazing I was 2hrs from home and needing to get to Nashville for a Dr appointment at Vandy. We had some car trouble and had some questions. Devon was very helpful in answering questions, letting us know what we needed to do, and helping us. I had called several places to see what was needed and nobody was helpful. I found this by accident trying to get to an auto store on a Sunday. I can't say thank you enough!!!!”

Came in for an oil change. I didn’t know what type of oil change I needed but the employee that helped me today on 8/20 he was working with an older man name John who also was wonderful. They both helped me with an oil changed and explain what I needed to know about getting an oil change on our new car. John a kind man that had a big heart. Thanks for helping a mama of 2!”

“On a road trip and hit the 103,000 mile mark. Needed an oil change, transmission flush and radiator flush. Staff was helpful and fast but not too fast. Some of these places make me nervous but these guys appeared to be on it. I also double checked all the fluids after I got home and levels looked good.”
“Great experience, had an oil change with a different location a few weeks ago and it started leaking a few weeks after.
David, the manager, said there was no need for a new oil change, diagnosed the problem and told me the best way to go about fixing it and said he’d install the part as soon as I came back with it.
Stephon (assistant manager) was the man who greeted me when I drove in and walked me through the process to begin with. He was very knowledgeable and told me right away they’d fix the issue no charge.
Have had nothing but fantastic experiences at this location & will be a customer here as long as the services remains and I live in Clarksville.

“Fast, convenient, price, the staff is amazing. We’ve never left there unhappy. Very friendly, no pressure, lets us know when something is coming up for service but no pressure. They are very professional and knowledgeable. We’ve never left there feeling bad about the service we came for, or about any of the staff. Not too many places these days that can say that. We’ve been coming here about 4 years. If there’s a discount with the service we had they make sure we get it.”
“I had my oil changed and then discussed a new air filter. There was no pressure to buy into the "add-on" services, and I was both grateful for that and interested in their recommendations, which I was given in writing. All in all, it was flawless. This is much more reasonable than dropping my car off and picking it up later or even sitting in a waiting room. Finally, and importantly, the workers had high morale and functioned well as a team. Definitely a 5 star oil change.”
“Was told to expect a 3+ hour wait for 1 tire. When I came in the lady at the desk asked to see the tire in question. Suggested they do a plug instead of trying to upsale a whole tire (plus fees.) When it came my turn for repair, I was called to ask if I had roadside hazard warranty. I didn’t, but the whole experience was great. 3+ turned into me only waiting about 1 1/2. Amazing front desk folks and the techs in the back making this seamless.Service: Tires”

“Luis was the man! He helped us every step of the way and went many extra miles to help us with the insurance and warranty company, which was a typical headache. Our pillar cover flew off and needed to be replaced and had a gasket leak. Everything is perfect. Excited to have this dealership as our new place to get work done.”
“Called ahead and made an appointment for a tire repair (giant nail took a tire out). Had a bit of a wait for it to be worked on (smaller sized staff & high work volume), but I walked around the store to kill time. Arrived early to get my appointment checked in, so they could start on time. Still had to buy a new tire because of how it punctured the tire. Customer service (Darrel) was very nice and extremely helpful. Technician was nice and finished up the tire work quick. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother service experience, despite having to buy a whole new tire.”

“Pricey for labor, but you get what you pay for. The A&R team are some of the best professionals in the area as far as mechanics. The mechanics are separated from the business model.
I recommend finding routine services elsewhere like fluid and exterior part changes around town, but if you need something deeper and more sophisticated done, you can do it properly, here.”
