What a gem. The instruction is technical and patient, and the culture is built on a growth mindset. Eric is as welcoming and as good of an ambassador for bjj as you can imagine. 10/10 will train here again next time I’m in town. You should, too.

From Kaze Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo Institute
Kaze BJJ and Judo Institute is an affiliate school of Tennessee BJJ in Spring Hill, TN.
Kaze is run by Eric Schwalm. Eric is a BJJ Black Belt (1st degree) under Ray Casias of TNBJJ. Eric has been training BJJ and Judo for over 20 years and holds a second-degree black belt in Judo. In addition to his martial arts experience, he is an active duty member of the Armed Forces.
At Kaze we strive to create an open and inviting atmosphere where all students can reach their full potential. We do that by focusing on the individual and making the art fit them, versus trying to make the individual fit a certain mold.
