Went in for oil change cause I'm in from outa town. Thought going to Chevy would be zero worries. I was so wrong. The following day after picking up my vehicle I found this shop towel left from the dealership under my hood. Only reason I noticed it was it was smoking like crazy. I have children an this coulda been alot worse! Im just glad I found it before my long trip home. Will not use or suggest people use them or check under your hood before starting your vehicle.

I scheduled a 10:00 appointment for a recall 2 weeks ago. I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours and no parts were needed. Once there I was told it would take 2-4 hours. 5 hours later at 3:00 I called to check to see if my truck was ready. I was told at that time the recall part would not be there for 2 more days and was asked if I needed my truck back. Not only have I lost a day of work, but my truck is still not repaired. No one bothered to call me once they realized they did not have the recalled part. No one offered any reasoning on why it sat there all day. I will not be scheduling any service there in the future.

Cedric is a shady salesman. he answers his phone VERY aggressive "Who's this!?" after he texts you to contact him. (Red flag#1). Then the used truck I went to go see has a electronic brake lock issue and will not unlock the brakes not allowing it to be driven (Red Flag #2). Then, the next day, after contacting him to see if the issue was fixed, while AGAIN answering his phone aggressively "who's this!?" (should've been red flag #3), he goes on to say "It was just a break pad placed on backwards." Well, i went back and drove the truck and it was great while going slow but, when you got the RPM's above 3000, it ceased up again. That was officially red flag #3 for me. Never do business with people who talk to you as if you were a criminal and then straight up lie to you about a vehicle issue when I am about to drop $30k on something.I will never do business here.

I had them repair my Cadillac in August 2021. Almost 2 years later, paint cracking, trunk hinge not aligned, and water leaking into trunk space of car. They will give you the run around on “cant get in contact with insurance” just like previous reviews have stated. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR REPAIR! Do your homework, and look for a better option…there are many out there that will treat you as a respected customer and do an exceptional job that doesn’t require the headaches they cause. After all, you will find another shop to complete the repair correctly.

I'm going to open this with by calling out Murray Gibson and Jamie Anthony to do the right thing. They both seem to hate working for such a slimy service. They knew, before they both lied to me, that their service department was faltering. It was only after 49 days that I had to have a vehicle removed from James Corlew "Cadillac/Chevrolet service, and have it delivered to a Wyatt Johnson service center before all codes were properply analyzed and corrected in less than 24 hours.

I purchased a used truck back in May of 2023. The vehicle was needing some repairs to be ready for sale. In multiple conversations with my salesman he shook my hand and assured me that the dealership would fix the issues and that if other things came up they would take care of it and that they don't do half assed stuff, they will make it right. Within a month of my purchase the air ride that was supposedly fixed during make ready failed while driving down the highway. They took the truck in and had it for two weeks for repairs that should have already been done. Last week the truck died in the middle of the street with and electrical problem with a coolant valve. And has since died left me stranded calling a tow service three other times. Ive called the salesman and he said the dealership wasn't going to do anything tow it to the dodge house or another mechanic shop...did even offer to bring it to their own service department! Long story short and multiple repairs on various systems and trips to shops and $1,200 later the truck broke down again on the way home from the shop for yet another issue last night...I've called and tried to get contact with the sales manager with no success, spoke with the salesman multiple times with the same message of essentially not the dealerships problem. I've asked them just to make it right. This vehicle has been broke more than it's been driven then the 89 days that I have had it. I paid $23,000 cash for the truck. At this point I would take trade value of $17,000 and loose the other $6,200 dollars I have in the purchase price and mechanics bills on the truck. They said you more than welcome to come trade it on a new truck but won't work to make this purchase right. Why would I want to take an even bigger hit on trading and purchasing another vehicle through them??? Oh and the shop I did take it too said that the air ride is STILL not working properly! Stay AWAY! Do not purchase from this establishment.

Took my car here for service and they said it was going to be over $4000. Took it somewhere else and had it fixed for $500.

I took my car into James Corlew Chevrolet for transmission fluid change, brake fluid, replace wipers and coolant change March 2023. I should have followed my instincts when driving up at 8:35 am and no "green arrows" were on at service door and no discernible lights on inside and could see no people moving around. I waited about 5 to 7 mins and I drove on and come back about 30 mins later and the same thing. Finally after about 5 mins or so the door went up. I ask what time they opened and he said 7am. I stated that is what I was told and the sign on service door stated this also. I told him that I had been there earlier and the door did not open and the "green arrows" that I was told about on phone were not on. He ask "their not on yet". The service advisor presented with no professionalism or customer courtesy. He never came to the customer lounge to inform me of the total price or to confirm he had entered the info I gave him was correct on work order. Any way I got a call back that my car was ready, about two hours and was timely. I was presented with invoice at the cashier's window and the advisor walked away quickly. Total price was $741. She insisted I sign everything and like a robot "cash, check or card". I signed, BIG mistake! Not that it actually matters. I never worry about this with the two Chevrolet Dealers I have done business with for years. Drove the car about 10 miles through traffic and checked transmission fluid three times. It was barley in the minimum zone but should had more fluid. I drove back to service doors and one opened. Some man, I'm guessing service manager, supervisor or something, standing by car when I got got out so I told him about the fluid level. He stated he would "take are of it," that he "had a trainee back there." A trainee changed my transmission fluid! Think about that. He should had closer supervision! It's a transmission!! The coolant does not look near as orange/red as it did the last time it was changed at the dealership where I bought the car. It just does not appear to be fresh/clean. The brake fluid at least had some added but is absolutely very close to being too full. It is over the fill level line and may be touching the 'cushion' on inside of cap. The tech did NOT clean any of the fluid caps or the area around the caps. This is strong evidence of NO professionalism and does not instill confidence. This of course worries me. I saw this after arriving home. I'm glad I keep under hood fairly clean. Now to the "Dollar Store" wipers. They did fit but were NOT close to the wipers they replaced. The wipers looked like toys compared to previous wipers. I had replaced twice before at two other Chevrolet Dealerships. After arriving home, I took passenger wiper off and it was held on, sort of, by a very thin plastic tab that almost broke off and would not have stayed on again! I have never felt so 'reamed' in my life! It is not the price, it's "what did I get for MY money". After arriving home, I called my local Chevrolet Dealer Parts Department and they had the wipers in stock that belonged on my car. She also stated voluntarily, "Sir, if you will pull into one of the service lanes we will be happy to install these for you." No charge for installing. They did follow through. I chose James Corlew Chevrolet out of convenience and location at the time!!! Lesson learned! BTW I have owned a few new Buicks and Chevrolets over the years and have dealt with numerous GM dealerships throughout the Southeast and this is absolutely the worst experience. In fact, it is my only truly bad experience with the actual service. This was my experience at James Corlew Chevrolet. You be the judge. What do you think I got for my money?

They have had my car for over 2 months now, with nothing but excuses every time I try to get status on what's going on. They just keep blaming the insurance company and the parts dealers, and take no accountability for their disorganization. The lady who was supposed to be taking care of my insurance claim seemed to have no idea how insurance claims work, and kept insisting that my insurance had paid me directly when they very clearly said they were paying the shop directly. She took weeks to even order our parts because she thought the insurance wasn't going to pay. Then they have since submitted two supplements and again delayed ordering more parts. I asked if I can have my car back while they await these additional parts and was told that my car is taken apart and can't be put back together. Their customer service is horrendous. Even with the ridiculous delays, they will not lift a finger to make it right. I asked if we could just get a loaner for a couple of days and was told that their loaners are only for their "service department." If I could, I'd take my car elsewhere today.
