Our experience with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation was great. Danial was very professional and was always prompt at answering our questions. He was very informative and explained everything so that we felt comfortable the entire time. We would definitely use Fairway in the future.

We have used them twice now, when we purchased our last home, and now with our new one. Both times we've been very happy with their service. We never had to follow up with anyone. Everybody was so prompt that before we could reach out, they did. They were quicker than our realtor with new information.

If I could give 0 Stars I would. We originally came to Fairway to find out whether or not we should refinance or sell our current home and purchase another home in order to use money from the equity of our home. We worked with Briana Vandlen and she was incredibly unprofessional and seemed like an intern new to the mortgage industry. She would tell us one thing and then completely flop to another thing. When we called her out on this she implied that we were stupid and were not understanding what she was saying. When I showed her email proof of her inconsistencies she passed it off like it didn't happen. She told us to pull money from the equity of our home we would have to refinance and then turn around and sell our house with that money (come to find out that was a complete lie and that Fairway was essentially trying to double dip and get us to pay thousands of dollars TWICE). After coming to the conclusion that she was a liar and awful at her job (or maybe awesome depending on if you're looking at this from the perspective of a mortgage broker trying to make money or someone sellling/purchasing a home) we asked to talk to whoever was in charge. We got a call from Derrick, the district manager. Where do I start... Derrick was horrible! He contacted us without even reviewing our file or looking at any of the emails between us and Bri. As soon as I answered his phone call the first thing he did was say that Bri has been with their company for x amount of years and we have to be mistaken, I asked if he'd read any of her emails to us so he could see how unprofessional she was and he flat out told me no because he trusts her. I told him he was a horrible customer service manager and he said if I was a manager wouldn't I stand by my team as well... NO, I'd look at the evidence before making a determination. Then he said he's a veteran and that I should respect that.... I'm sorry but what on earth does that have to do with anything that's happening.Needless to say we parted ways with Fairway and will NEVER ever use them. I hope my horrible experience with them helps you decide to not have the same.ADD ON: I found out after the fact that Derrick is actually Bri's father so his interaction with us should come as no surprise. I think considering the fact that Fairway is corporate owned and multistate wide, Derrick shouldn't have been able to call clientele in regards to complaints about his own daughter. We have since sold the house that was mentioned prior and we were in fact able to pull the equity from that house to use as a down payment for our next home. I again repeat, never ever use Fairway Mortgage if you want to work with someone you trust.

Mr. Jones and Tara Willoughby are the best there is. They went above and beyond to make sure I was informed through the entire process. Both are extremely professional and knowledgeable. I could not have ask for a better team of professionals to go through this process with.

As a first time home buyer this process was very confusing. Unfortunately, Fairway made that process even more confusing. Erica was amazing, but there are too many people working with your loan and very poor communication. My only advise is do everything in writing and lock your rate as soon as possible.

Phenomenal team to work with! I did all of this from another state and they were so on top of it and made everything so comprehensive and easy.. Quick responses, thorough info, anticipated needs.. they are so good at what they do and I really enjoyed working with them! 5 stars and then some!

I worked with Dana through my home buying process. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience . Dana walked me through each step of the process and answered all 9 million questions I asked . She made me feel so comfortable through all this and never once made me feel silly for asking anything and I was amazed at how fast she replied . 100% would recommend her to anyone looking for a mortgage .
