First of all, I wanto to thank C&S Auto for being one of the extremely few, if not the only one, auto shops that work on foreign and luxury vehicles. Y'all being located in Clarksville has saved me several times from driving all the way to Nashville for a repair trip. Secondly, I want to thank them for not taking advantage of this fact and charging outrageous prices or taking advantage of people's ignorance of vehicles and using scare tactics to make them purchase more or faking problems to create unnecessary work and charging them. Earl and his team of highly skilled and trained mechanics do exactly what they're paid to do-fix car issues and be honest with their advice to their customers. They will be very transparent with their advice while still leaving the decision to you to make the repair or not. I could not speak more highly of this company and its' employees there. I think most people on here who talk bad about this shop have no business owning a high cost vehicle and then get mad at the shop when they can't afford the maintenance because they have zero money management skills. This is completely unfair. If you want a convenient location and a very knowledgeable and courteous, but fair, customer service, this is the shop for you.

I don't do many reviews but Just thought I'd share my experience with this POS Mechanic and save other peoples time and money. I bought a car at auction knowing it probably needed a good amount of work. Took it by and an old man, most likely the owner, told me he'd look at it but I needed to correct one of the tires that had the wrong size rim/tire. I did what he asked and dropped it off. Couple hours later I received a call and the old man immediately starting yelling about how I didn't buy all new matching tires like he wanted . He proceeded to speak down to me and stated, "we're not going to be a good fit. Come get your car off my lot." So, unless you're looking for God's imparted blessing of a mechanic to mankind, don't bother with this place. To the ignorant old man that profiled me-Give me a call if you want to compare W2s.

My wife's car had air conditioner problems. We had a quick service place look at last fall and freon was added. But, recent weather showed us that did not fix the problem. We found C&S online and made an appointment. Their tech did a real assessment and found significant levels of air in the line. Had to be removed and freon added properly. Car cools now the way it supposed to. The tech called and explained everything so we could understand it. Plus, he stands by his work. If it fails this summer we just bring the car back for repair, the assessment will be included because of previous service. You cannot find better people to deal with in Clarksville!

We are new to town and I was looking for an honest mechanic who worked on foreign cars, I found C&S auto and made an appointment. They were very friendly, honest and communicative. If they said it was going to be done by 11, it was done at 11. I made an appointment for my second car and had the same experience! They explained everything, did as they said and were super quick. I would recommend them to anyone!

I just called to see about a diagnostic for an older car, he was incredibly rude and snappy. Quoted 100$ for a basic diagnostic which is a fine price, then when I didn't answer immediately about scheduling an appointment he hung up the phone on me! Terrible customer service and an absolutely ridiculous way to run a business. But after reading the Facebook reviews I'm glad I didn't take my vehicle in. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

tried to take a vechile there to get worked on. just purchased the vechile so the previous owner wanted to keep his tags. so while the car was not drivable no need for tags. took the vechile to c and s auto. an older gentleman came.outside and wanted to no where the tags was. because there was no tags he did not want to service the car. loaded car back up and left. he was rude and arrogant. acting like he had no time to fix the vechile. been doing business with them.since riverside drive but no longer. worse experience. but before we hauled the vechile there we called and made an appointment and he asked well why you want to bring it all the way here dont u have somewhere closer to u to take it.

I'm a mechanic and normally do maintenance on our cars, but when I was deployed, my wife took the car in to C&S for a starter issue and servicing. First, the idiot who reinstalled the filter housing used way too much torque, and I broke my filter housing wrench trying to remove it. Second, the engine cover was not reinstalled. It was just sitting on top of the engine. Third, they charged my wife $1000 to replace a 2009 RAV4 starter, which is about a $500 job. I've ordered a new oil filter wrench and "hope" I will be able to get the filter off when it arrives. Torque specs on the Toyota filter housing is 18 ft/lbs.

They were super friendly and didn’t try to over sell me. I have a Jaguar and they could have taken advantage and didn’t. I highly recommend them and Doyle is the best!!

Absolutely great customer service and great prices. Not only did they give my car a second look versus the inspection I received somewhere else and give me a no nonsense estimate but they were honest enough to tell me that most of the work was actually related to a previous fender bender that was not repaired properly. They could have taken me for the money like the other place wanted to but they sent me back to my insurance. This was my first visit here but definitely won't be my last.

I took my car to C & S to get a diagnostic check. I didn't get my car fixed since they could not find the exact problem. It was old and not worth putting much money into. Everyone I encountered was very knowledgeable and super nice. I'd definitely go back there again.
