This is one of clarksville's better Dollar general stores. I enjoy shopping here I like the convenience I like that it's always fully stocked. I have always had great customer service until I met this guy that's pictured below. This man said that he is the stores Assistant Manager. However, he refused to give me his name. He told me after I entered the store ( doors were already open) and walked to cash register. I was trying to return items that I brought too many of. This man bullied me. Tried to intimidate me by threats to call police. Refused to follow his employers posted store return policy. He made accusations that my items were probably stolen. He was very hostile and rude towards me. He also stereotyped me by making remarks about my items probably being stolen. I felt discriminated against because why wouldn't he follow the store police? Shouldn't he be fully aware of the policy by him holding a management position. His behavior towards me was totally unnecessary and uncalled for. There was another employee in the store as well. That employee tried to step in and follow policy by giving me a store credit which I would have been perfectly fine with. However, he began to yell at her telling her "NO, MAKE HER COME BACK TO TOMORROW! WE ARE ABOUT TO CLOSE AND I TOLD HER THAT,!" The time was 9:51 pm the store doesn't close until 10:00 PM. I thought if I was in the store before the official closing time, I should have been allowed to make my transaction without a problem. This man is a bully and he misused his authority. He was dishonest, wrong and RUDE.

Best Dollar Store in Clarksville! It was fully stocked and the cashier was so kind! Damon greeted me when I walked in and was very friendly during the check out process. I walked out the door with a smile on my face!

The folks working there are very friendly. I wouldn't rate much higher due to the amount of merchandise needing to be unpacked in the aisles and sparse stocking of the things on the shelves. The fig newtons they sell are better than the Nabisco brand ones. The self-checkout is hit-or-miss and usually they have lines of customers waiting to check out because they prefer to have a clerk do the checkout.Its convenient by location but they have some challenges to overcome. I hope it gets better before long.

This store was so disgusting. It was filthy dirty plus you couldn't even push a cart down the aisles because they had every aisle almost completely blocked with inventory stock. There was such a bad smell in the store I'm guessing that was from it being so filthy. This franchisee should be ashamed of themselves for not being a good franchise owner. I should of known what I was walking into when the outside of the store had garbage scattered everywhere. Needless to say, I will never go to this location again.
