This is my absolute favorite clothes mentor. Very clean and organized. Rows and rows of great plus size clothing, shoes and accessories. And if you need help putting a outfit together go and see Miss Trish. She is the best.

The last few times I’ve gone to this location wasn’t the most welcoming. I usually don’t write reviews unless they’re necessary. I love a good thrift shop but I’m honestly not sure that I’d come here again. I sold with this location a few months ago and the manager (usually always there) had an attitude and I understood because I’ve worked in retail, workers have bad days. I just don’t think it should be projected on to the customers OR other workers.
I have recently revisited the store to purchase some items. Since I am different in sizes now, I was unsure how things would look, I tried on the clothes. While trying on clothes my door opens wide enough for other customers to see me. The manager didn’t knock nor ask if the fitting room was busy. I was humiliated and left everything there. There was no apology offered while this occurred.
While shopping this same day, I also witnessed a newer employee being scolded for not knowing how to start/complete a buy with a customer. Although, I understand frustration with training, as a manager it is your responsibility to treat your employees well and remain calm when training them.
For future purposes, I’d hope that the manager learned from this incident and doesn’t humiliate anyone else. Please, ALWAYS knock on the fitting room doors. And if you do this again, at least offer an apology. For the newer employees sake, I hope she is treated with more respect & calmness.

hi! so i’m new to Knoxville and love fashion!
I came by yesterday to drop off when they opened. The lady told me it would take 30 min to review. I came back 30 min later and she said she hadn’t started and she had 2 customers in front of me. I asked what time they closed. She said 8. I came back at 7:45 and they told me they stopped buying at 7 and couldn’t help me.
I came back this morning and they told me they didn’t want my items. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have told me that last night? How many times have I had to come back here…
do not go here!
they have a “now hiring” sign for a reason.

They say they are accepting clothes, but then rush through and offer the smallest amount they can. You’d be better off going through somewhere else. They were very rude.

I’ve bought & sold to clothes mentor in a few other states & have always loved the experience. However, whenever I visit the Clarksville, TN store I have a vastly different experience. I’m not sure if the lady with the brown hair (who appears to be a manager) should be in the customer service business or maybe just not the reselling business. Maybe her dream is to own an upscale boutique because that’s where she acts like she works. Clothes mentor is a great place to find pretty clothes but it is still essentially a resale business, it’s just this location seems to resent the reselling part. I finally learned my lesson after this visit and will save my clothes & shopping for visits for when I’m out of state.

My mom and I enjoy shopping at clothes mentor. Trish, Kara, and Nicole are always so sweet and kind. We like to look online before we go into the store which is helpful for planning trips out with my two young kids. This is the only place we shop for our clothes. It's so clean and organized. Love it!

Rude lady. I just came from there. I asked for a receipt. The lady said “we don’t give receipts” I asked if I can take a picture of the items I left. She said “ you are free to take a picture or even catalogue the items” For real. Negative review. — APSU graduate
