Arrived shortly after the store opened. Blue tags were 30% off + white tags 50% off. An employee worked quickly to pull all blue and white tags off the racks and hide them in an employee only area. When I asked employees why they allegedly had no idea why their coworker was prohibiting customer access to the advertised discounted items.

There is no fitting room, and the "exchange policy" is very limited. You have 14 days to bring back clothing items with the original tag and receipt, you have to shop on the same day of the return. You are only given store credit. So you can't try anything on, if you really want it you have to buy it and then can get your money back if it doesn't fit. What a huge scam ?
The employees at the counter were nice at least.

Was looking for a particular item and was surprised at the size of the inside. Many different departments. Please bring your own bag to carry your items home.

Lots of junk , people who work there very rude. I heard one woman demean her possible son who also works there loud enough I could hear every word in front of her son to another woman. About him not making an effort, not trying in school. That he got a zero, that if he tried he would have got something. How he wouldn't even try to do a girlie push up. You could see the boy was embarrassed and looked like the wind was let out of his sale. Then later she was rude to me, she would let a fit it charge for a while, she was in a hurry for me to go. She already said she wasn't gonna let it charge more than 2 minutes. It's was rude, all the workers where loud, and bossy and rude to people. I dont know if ill ever go back.

I stopped by this place as it was on my lists of places to check out eventually. It's dirty for one, and the policy about not selling items because the sticker fell off/is missing is strange.
I could let it go, but their excuses weren't the same. First, it's "we don't know if this is actually our product," and then it was "we reprice everything on the floor on Mondays that's missing a tag."
The furniture and clothes were blech - nasty smell imo and the cost of shopping at Ross for used items. Disappointed that thrift stores keeping trying to sell items at brand new prices. What's the point of thrifting then?

Unacceptable Treatment on Military Discount
Rating: ☆ ☆☆☆☆
A friend visited here and tried to use a military discount, only to be treated with suspicion and disrespect. Despite showing his veteran ID, staff repeatedly questioned his status, involving multiple employees and creating a humiliating scene. No apology was given, highlighting a severe lack of respect for him. This approach is deeply offensive, and I am appalled by the store’s failure to properly honor those who served. Immediate improvement in staff training and customer respect is crucial.

I recently visited the store on military discount day, excited to take advantage of the promotion. I purchased several items, including pants and a pair of boots, and presented my veteran status on my driver's license for the discount. What followed was a disappointing ordeal. The cashier hesitated and had to consult with multiple colleagues, each assured her honoring the discount was okay. Even after confirmation, another staff member questioned my veteran status, asking for additional proof beyond what was clearly indicated on my license. The lack of trust and unnecessary scrutiny left me feeling disrespected, especially when no apology was offered despite my clear frustration.
I took ten minutes in my car to make sure I had my emotions in check and came back in to return the items.
Adding to the frustration was the return policy. Instead of a refund, customers are essentially forced into store credit, which limits options and flexibility. Worse still, shoes and boots are non-refundable, a policy that seems outdated and unfair, particularly if the items are unworn and in pristine condition.
To compound matters, the absence of a dressing room makes it difficult to assess the fit and quality of clothing, turning what should be a straightforward shopping experience into a gamble.
The customer service and return policy at this establishment need significant improvement. A more trusting and accommodating approach towards customers, especially veterans, coupled with a fairer and more flexible return policy, would go a long way in enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Giving 5 stars because I love city thrift and used to work here and love all my coworkers but today I had a terrible experience. I am a thrifter and do thrift or pass on my story and in the back there is normally an empty rack for me to put things on I don’t want. Well today there wasn’t. So I asked an employee if I could put them on her rack. She huffed and told me no that I could go through them and put stuff up front on an empty rack when there wasn’t an empty rack for me to use… this was an easy fix. She could have been polite and grabbed me an empty rack. But instead she was extremely rude. I wish u would have gotten her name. She even told me I’m making it hard on them to put the items up! I’m sorry but if that’s hard for you get another job! Then when I told the manager she said she heard about it and shrugged it off. Extremely disappointed. They will be loosing my business because I refuse to support that place after being treated that way. But that’s okay because they are overpriced anyways!

I was on vacation, and my family took me here. we love to go to thrift stores. If you can call them that anymore. This was overpriced for sure! If you are looking for the color of the day, tag good luck! The name brand jeans are ridiculously overpriced, I was looking for sweaters it was colder than expected, uh...are you kidding me? Brands from Target and Walmart are marked the same prices new. I did find a few bargains here and bought them. There are no rooms to try things on, At least they do have a return policy.

Outstanding staff and store. Very neat and clean. I'm able to find what I'm looking for if not the staff never fails. They have a wide selection. The prices are on point especially with the daily discounts.
