Signed up to use their services for a temporary membership that can the be credited toward a full membership package. Barcode would not work no matter how I turned my phone or stretched or shrunk the barcode . When you call their voicemail it’s full and when you look on line and try to make an appointment it just takes you to their packages, with no option to actually make any appointment. There is no other contact available so there is no way to use the membership unless I come in between 12-6 M—W-F ? But when I went in to see the gym before for a few minutes they were like broken record… just sign up on line. The members are very nice but say I can’t let you in because we get in trouble for that. I don’t know about you guys but I only have about a half an hour 45 minutes tops after work to start my workout or my motivation completely tanks and after stuff not wording and hearing this is a regular thing they haven’t fixed I can't imagine crediting it towards a full membership. What else doesn’t work right or isn’t clean? Refund please…

Brand new gym with all " plate based" equipment. Very clean and not busy. Great place to get a workout.

"Battleground Fitness is an absolute gem in Clarksville! From the moment you step through the doors, you can feel the positive energy and welcoming atmosphere that David and Kate have cultivated. As owners, they go above and beyond to ensure that every member feels valued and supported on their fitness journey. The environment they've created at Battleground Fitness is truly fantastic. It's not just a gym; it's a community of like-minded individuals who are all striving to better themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. The Christian vibe that permeates throughout the gym adds an extra layer of warmth and encouragement, making it a truly special place to work out.Battleground Fitness' dedication to their members is evident in every aspect of the gym, from the well-maintained equipment to the variety of classes and programs offered. They are always approachable, attentive, and ready to offer guidance and support whenever needed. If you're looking for a gym where you can feel motivated, supported, and part of a wonderful community, look no further than Battleground Fitness. I can't recommend it highly enough!"

Love it here! Amazing quality equipment with a great assortment and very heavy weights too, over 100 pound dumbbells, both chest press and barbell benches, EZ squat bars, regular squat and deadlift bars, smith machine and hack, etc…. So many options, and to top it off with a positive attitude in the staff, clean, nice showers that are private! My only complaint is that i live 15 minutes away!!! Thank you so much, Billy Z (Building Strong Men ? and Confideo )P.S. I’d gladly spend a little more to not WAIT in line for the undisciplined guy texting and holding onto the 75# weights at that other gym I was a member at…

I went for a few days and I have to say, it is an absolute joke. To give them any money is comical

The whole thing is a complete scam hidden by the religious aspect. In the fitness industry $25 is considered very high for a day pass, yet at this facility it’s $45. Now I’m sure they’ll tell you it’s to “discourage” certain individuals who may take advantage of an unstaffed gym but market research used by facilities all across the country shows that anything above $10 quickly weeds out people who aren’t serious, so at $20 a person you’d be pretty safe, this is simply gouging. Then a month to month membership where you sign yourself up online comes with an almost $100 “enrollment fee”. Again, you literally sign yourself up. Next the “master certification” the owners hold comes from a service where you can instantly take the exam and take it until you pass, once you pass you pay them and are suddenly a “master trainer”. This would be why nowhere requiring certification for insurance would accept what these individuals hold. Really a shame. Was looking forward to trying the facility but with a little research and knowing what you’re talking about when it comes to fitness, I wouldn’t give these two a dime.

Recently had the opportunity to meet and get to know the owners of Battle Ground Fitness along with one of their gym members. What great people they are! It is obvious that truly have others best interests at heart. I am very happy to have them in our community!

BGF is the gold standard out of all the gyms in the surrounding area. Kept amazingly clean, good quality equipment, and very welcoming people create an atmosphere you will not get anywhere else.

I currently serve as a personal trainer at this location and let me just say that IT… IS… PHENOMENAL!! Equipment is always in working order, gym and bathrooms stay clean, and the members are amazing. I get the opportunity to create my own schedule AND take vacations whenever I want. I ADORE my clients and look forward to my time here! ?

I absolutely love this gym. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The gym is very clean. It’s never slammed where you can’t use a machine or waiting for someone to get off. Definitely love the 24 hour access and would highly recommend this gym to anyone.

I love this gym and the owners so much! The gym itself is the cleanest gym I have ever been to and that comes from the pride the owners take in making sure we have a clean environment to work out in. This gym environment is good for your body AND soul and that's what makes it stand above the other gyms in town!!

Battleground Fitness is a place of HEALING let me tell you.... I have battled with my weight and mental wellness since having children. I had been praying long before joining this gym which one was the perfect fit, I was embarrassed, ashamed of the place I was in physically and just needed help.. one day on my way to work I stopped to get a Mountain Dew next door to this gym which I never do and saw Battleground.. something just said go check it out mk you have time. I went in and met David, one of the owners. He was beyond welcoming, answered all questions and immediately said.. we all have to start somewhere it’s going to be ok, we got you. That day I signed up with his wife, Kate for personal training. God knew exactly what He was doing.. I am in there 3 days a week and have lost major pounds.. but aside from that IVE LOST BONDAGE AND CHAINS of depression, of anger, of being ashamed. This gym has given ME motivation, the courage to keep going and stay in the battle. This gym has catered to my spiritual walk with the Lord. I have never met owners more REAL, TRUE, STEADFAST in the will and calling God has placed in their lives than Kate and David. Sometimes it is so hard to please everyone owning businesses but what I can tell you is through their walk with the Lord and knowing they will always listen to the Holy Spirit when He says move, I can promise you they leave no stone left unturned. This gym and the ones in it have become my second home. A place where I have found freedom, refuge, a place where I am unashamed. After 5 months, they have my business for life. CALL THEM, WALK IN, YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Great gym equipment, but the owners do not have their values in their members. Instead they are focused on profitting off of you as much as possible and will go as far as to even for lack of better words steal from you. I was employed as a personal trainer here for a short period of time and due to the pricing most clients turned away immediately from ever signing up and the ones who did were being ripped off by the owner's 60$ per hour pricing, not to mention he reaps 40% of that and even at the lowest tier package, you're paying him more for his gym than his initial month to month subscription. I happened to have a client who decided they wanted to cancel the membership due to the pricing and apparently because I sympathized with that person's decision in agreement that the pricing is a little high, word got out and the owner made a bunch of assumptions about what me and that client chatted about and without even communicating with me first removed me from his/her social media platform and his/her business site as a personal trainer. And so I decided that this personal training thing just wasn't for me and when I decided to end things he took that as "disrespect" going as far as to cancel my 1 year paid in full 500$+ membership that I hadn't even used 3 months of. Scam, steal, call it whatever you want but to cancel my membership I paid for all based on assumptions that you can't even confirm are true and as respectful and as long of a member as I have been at your gym, how pathetic for you to take my membership away from me just because we didn't see eye to eye. This isn't the christian gym they make themselves out to be, they have greedy pricing on top of ridiculous enrollment fees and have 2 semiannual fees that I honestly can't imagine actually go to what they claim it goes to. Your money is better spent at some of the other gyms here in Clarksville I can assure you.Edit after response from owner:You claim you removed me after I "quit" when that is an outright lie. I was removed well before I ever decided I was going to quit and I only decided against continuing with my clients because of your action removing me as a personal trainer. It baffles me that you still overlook the fact that I was a paying customer! And yes I did turn down clients, but not for bodybuilding, you do know I work a full time job right? This was something I was going to do on the side and I was never concerned about the volume of clients I had so I don't even know why you're trying to bring that up. But it's your business at the end of the day so keep making poor decisions and making a ridiculous paywall that only the wealthy or extremely commited can afford, see how far that gets you. If you think you're going to compete with your pricing you're sadly mistaken. You're asking unmotivated people to pay for personal training at ridiculous prices as though that's going to help them reach their goals when in fact it won't in most cases. No wonder your personal trainers left the gym when you switched to this scam of a service.
